Ok thanks, I had it pre 494 with Yoss's mod but like you never noticed it with any ISI content, but did notice it in the BES GT3 mod a long time ago when it 1st come about. Not sure if they fixed it as I never kept up with the BES mod tbh.

I'm afraid only ISI can clear up this (what's not happened so far).
I think it is the same thing as happend in the GP79 Mod cars with the new cockpits. In the release notes of the WSGT Megane I've read also something about this issue.
But nobody knows exactly what it is or why it happens.

I lose around 20fps with this car on Silverstone compared to most ISI cars and URD Endurance. Tried turning down the car details from Full to High,along with track, opponent and texture details but still a drop of 15fps and the constant fall-rise-fall of fps causes a very bad stutter...unfortunately I'm not able to drive this car but from what I could it seemed really nice.

Anyone else having fps issues with this car? The car is like the equivalent of what happens in game when I turn HDR on.
 
Not fps issues as such, but this car does seem particularly heavy on the frame rate, more so than any other car in rF2.
 
I'll have to agree with the "heavy on framerate". I don't consistently drive one car and it's hard to drive all of them, but when I took this one out for a drive on Tuesday it was very noticeable.
I still really like it though.
 
For me it's most noticeable when on the starting grid or driving down the pitlane past the garages. If I run a big grid of 20+ cars I get drops below 60fps. This doesn't happen with ISI or URD content. For instance I can run the full 22 car DTM grid and not drop below 60fps at any point.
 
For me this car alone in practice will fluctuate my frames between 30-52fps around Silverstone without finding a consistent level, hence the stuttering. With the exact same settings I get a constant 60fps with URD, Clio, F2, FR3.5 & Skip in practice. With AI using these cars, I get only slight drops at the start of the race or when pack racing but won't drop bellow 52fps with 23AI (again on Silverstone). It's a real shame as I really like the look, sound and feel of this car and was excited for what was to come.

Hi Yoss, just run this test for you, with the Civics, starting at the back of the grid I'm at 60fps (I have VSync Video enabled), I drop frames to lowest 55fps on two points of the track, going into turns Arena surrounded by cars and also into Vale, apart from those two corners, a solid 60fps. With the GT3 Merc, I start at 37fps in the back of the grid and drop to around 21fps in Arena and hit a maximum of 52fps around Copse but generally averaging around 40fps.

the 3d is a may be a bit heavy for rf2 for the moment.
we have reworked a bit the lods of the car in the 0.87, i take a look for trying to improve a bit the thing again, if i can.

Thanks yoss, that would be great as the car does feel pretty solid with sounds to match.

This is an excellent mod, just a bit too graphically demanding. Any optimisation would be most welcome.
