It's the ai tyre. When i give up the wheel after one lap and let the ai take over to do te rest of the stint, it uses the tbc files right? So the ai drives my selected car (wich i started for one lap). Al other ai can do a stint of 50 - 55 minutes, except the Porsches. At 30 minutes in to the stint my ai driver get warnings (crew chief) that the ai tyres are going off. Just like the other Porsche ai, mij ai driver has to pit after 35 minutes because the tires are totaly gone. Pitstoptimes of the Porsche ai are also shorter then rest of the ai, and thats because they still got fuel in the tank
ok ty for the clear explain ,i promise you that we look on porsche tbc file , but we are very very busy for the moment ,so don't expect a fast fix
thanks for the reply. No hurry and good luck with the other projects. Staring up the Bentley once more
Like to see them being balanced out with the official GT3 packs, also include those from other series (ie GT300) but leave out the Bentley (only need one and that's the official version)
While balancing the cars out, take a look at the Merc also (ai). They are limited to 166 km per hour top speed while the other cars reach 176. So at le mans, Daytona, Monza and Spa they are hurt on the long straiths. If you set the topspeed to 176 we can balance them out outselves using talent files (virtual drives) and BOP (ai strenght per car) them at any circuit.
added in first post a dropbox link of the rfcmp of the mod for manual installation : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zze3n5wt99tlkdx/AACMRiaWBGJcgkRqM8pm81R-a?dl=0 yes we look on sls too
Great, The SLS has also weak headlights compared to the other cars. The Corvette and Porsche have the lowest fuel consumption and the Bentley is more fuel consuming (ai). So after 50-53 minutes the Bentley is in for a pitstop, the Corvette and Porsche can do a stint that last over an hour (again ai). So if you do a 6 hour endurance race, they are making less pitstops then the merc, the bmw, the Ferrari and certainly less pitstops then the Bentley. Ans a pitstop takes about 1 minute and 10 seconds (with pit in and driving pit out). Almost impossible for the Bentley to make up the difference. Can you look at that too please. I know you guys are busy, no hurry. Good luck.
Hi, are there any further updates planned for this Cars? Because it would be nice if there were more updates. For some of the cars still drive on the racetracks, see BMW Z4 GT3 in Germany.
Hi Denise, we don't have planned updates as the cars still work well with the current build and especially the BOP had been greatly tested and tweaked. If there are compatibility issues in a future build, we will look into working an update. It's great to still see interest in the GT3 mod .
Sorry for jumping in! I'd agree that the cars work well and probably there is no reason to touch physics. But there are some visual things that could be improved material- and/or texture-wise (e.g. latest shaders and some albedo finetuning) and also rendering-wise (e.g. missing or misplaced parts in showroom and on-track). However, this is just nitpicking and complaining on a really high level
@ApexModding - your mod is seriously one of the best in rF2. While I respect your plans to not update cars, I silently hope maybe you would add more cars to the set In any case, huge thanks.
We have discussed this but there seems to be little to no attention to any non-DLC GT3 cars, so spending time to develop another car even if it's the Honda NSX, seems to not be the best allocation of very limited resources. Even the 2019 Indycar series has received no attention in this platform.
expecting attention to open wheel cars that are not F1 is just waste of time, that's the reality of simracing unfortunately current GT3 cars made by modders would get attention (especially the NSX, it's a fan favourite), that's also the reality of simracing lol
Well, I of course cannot speak for everyone, but in my book your mod offers 3 unique things: it has detachable parts and exploding engine (!!!!), it comes with Real World liveries out of the box. Also, it is older year cars, so in my personal opinion that alone is a big deal, because we all like different time eras. While I would like to see braking FFB improved, this is way preferred to me compared to official cars. I think you may underestimate how many people appreciate your work, silence does not necessarily mean mod is not used or not appreciated. BTW, are any of cars in your set have sequentially floor mounted shifting?
Really like this mod and it looks even better now and that Audi is a great addition.. is there a template for the Bentley I would like to do some skins sometime for it ?
