Weird - I have never seen this either - not even once and I've checked that the file is present on my system and i'm not playing in VR.
There's obviously a dependency or setting somewhere that stops it or results in it not playing, but I'm not sure what (I've checked the obvious settings I can think of in steam & the rfactor 2 launcher).
Anyway, I'm not complaining - just confirming that this doesn't play for everyone.

you MAY have to first click on the movie image with the mouse so that windows is focused on that. That is only if esc doesn't do anything.

I can click through it no worries I just want to get rid of it permanently.

I have never seen this video. I don't click or press anything. Is it because I have had rf2 from since pre steam? I'm offended and angered and want my money back.
Point is, if one has seen it 10 times and still has 0% interest in the ad, it's probably reasonable to remove it.

I'm still seeing that Peloton advert on my TV and have no interest in buying one. Wish I could remove that...
