First of all - its not my work, i don't know the author, could not find posted in here before and did not played yet. That said, it might im not allowed to post but i will take a chance because its seems quality work. So if the author or site hosting say im not allowed to do tha, i will delete. Hope people enjoy it because i like this track and could not wait anymore to see reviews from people here. Sorry in advance http://www.bsimracing.com/rfactor-2-adelaide-clipsal-500-v1-0-released/
It is one of the best street circuits I've ever driven in a sim. You can really tell that a ton of work has gone into this. Great stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shouldn't be difficult it it has some of the roads around it. I know the version I found you could have built both tracks out of it.
I've love a 1985-1995 version! http://www.racingcircuits.info/australasia/australia/adelaide.html I knew this one was different to what I drove in GP1 and GP2
This seems a little crazy, having recently updated to Win 10, and this was first time to use MEGA in win10....download is not found! It's always gone to desktop until now. Where did it go???? Is it different in win10, or did I just screw up? ** I found problem. Last two years "STUCK" with satellite internet. It's so lovely, just absolutely adorable. You get 10 gig a month bandwidth for 40, so adelaide broke the bank before it finished downloading. Just paid another tenner for another 1 gig and this time MEGA finished it's job.
I miss a bit the long version I used to drive in GPL but this shorter version is so well done, I love street circuits like this. The trees looks really well, and all the track looks really well done. I been doing lot of laps last night.
Good job. IIRC, the other version had poor AI so I deleted it. This AI is pretty good from initial impression with SF1 but the T280 really shined here for me in the other version so I think that will be what I drive tonight...
Thanks for the reviews. Will try as soon as i can. Btw, why modders are not announcing their work in this forum anymore? Just found another release announced by rf2 (i think, not sure) twitter account. Here is the link: http://www.onwheelstv.com/rfactor/silverstone-gp-1975-v1-0-released-for-rfactor-2/ I would like to make another thread but i don't feel comfortable doing this.
I havent tried it but I read that it's extremely good except for one thing, very bland track surface physical modelling. Is this true?
It's converted from another game, not a scratch made so people less likely to post stuff like that here I would say the track mesh is brilliant. It's got bumps and rises, but nothing stupidly dramatic. The guy who makes these converts is extremely good at making them brilliant in rf2. People who have said the mesh is bland need a re-think imo
Nice track, but - some random bumps would be nice here and there - AI needs improvement, for example -- they're slow in T3 -- coming out of the hairpin their racing line is bad other than that
Awesome track ...... wish people would make clear which it is, permission or not. New idea p We can make petitions for permissions and present to respective modders ............. p I am always trying to coax others from AC over to rF2 ( Neils, Duc, Rainmaker , etc ) hehehe Never ceases to amaze me, every new year, 4 superb Tracks for Historics. http://jrpearson.homestead.com/GPLCIRCUITS.html Do these private and send to Jim for approval. Isle of Man Full road will come........ get in the good books now. P.S. I know WooChoo is not intending to do a another track but love to see some of his authentic work in a Historic Bathurst ( fences, gates, telegraph poles , etc )
Hmm... Thanks man. Got it now. There is a version of this track for rf2. I think it stopped work in an old build update
be buggered if I can find this track after downloading. dropped rfcmp file into packages but cant for the life of me find it to install. checked bin 32 modmanger as well . any clues?? I do have other user accounts on this pc so will have a poke in their after checking path . hmmm first time for this .
