A special shout out to Gui for allowing us to use part of his work until the new build including corrections was ready. Thanks very much.
Great update. I really really love this mod. One thing that could be improved are the headlights. Lightflares would be great. Thanks for hours of driving pleasure. Gesendet von meinem HUAWEI VNS-L31 mit Tapatalk
People ask about the power, fuel consumption and tyres. Here some details: First all, you have to take in mind that it take 1 second per liter to fill the tank, and more power means more fuel and tyre wear on the rear tyres. Porsche: Both engines (IMSA and WSC) have 15 boost positions. From positon 1 to 7 are save fuel, with position 7 (1.1 bar) recomended as the default setting and the best setting for endurance. Position 10 (1.25 bar) could be used on sprint races if you can manage the tyres well. Then you could go up to position 15 (1.5 bar) for qualifying but it will damage the engine after a few laps. You can see the boost presure on the big gauge beside de tachometer 1.10 bar ~ 675 HP 1.25 bar ~ 735 HP 1.50 bar ~ 800 HP Mazda: This engine have Mixture feature to bring two possibitilies of power and fuel consumption (1/2 save mode and 2/2 fast mode). You must add two keys to control the mixture in car because this new feature is not present at the car's setup yet. You will feel a change on power output, giving to the driver more control, a bit less of final speed, and near 10% less fuel consumption. Position 1/2 s recomended for endurance races, and 2/2 for sprint races. 1/2 ~ 680 HP 2/2 ~ 710 HP Try a stint with each power setting to compare lap times and fuel usage, then go to the pits to fill the tank, then think about your best strategy taking in mind the tyre wear.
Little bug: The undertray shadow sinks in the ground sometimes for human physics. It gives a weird effect. But great fun!
the link for non steam sends me to a 0.95 version. is this the right one or is the 0.96 somewhere new? (is it released yet? just noticed someone above reference the non steam version) thanks
I've yet to drive the C11 but the experience has improved so far. I have to drive more especially the 787B. Going forward is it possible to recategorize the cars? Everything is under 1991 but besides cars from previous years, there are a lot of fantasy cars based on the Japanese series with other car makes, and segregating them all into one sub-category would clean up a bit the opponents list. And hopefully you get support from some of the artists to update the visuals and audio, as well as add the Jaguar.
At some point we should group the car by the year of the skins. That way you could choose the AI by year. At the moment there isn't enough for each year or series. We will see in the future. BTW, great video Gijs
the non-steam version for you guys until the website stuff is complete. http://www.mediafire.com/file/pi4h4f0o27mf9ia/MAK-Corp_Group_C_0.96_rfcmp.rar
v0.96 of the Group C mod for non steam users has now been added to our website and you can get it through our official website's mod page HERE If you are running v0.95 or an earlier version, please remember to uninstall that version before installing v0.96. We hope you enjoy!
The mod has been released on our website but since my original post needs moderator approval, I just thought I'd mention it without the URL. Hopefully a moderator will approve the original post.
