few shots in the rain... showing basic level of rain drops and beautiful puddles on track, thanks S397!!
We must wait for Studio 397, that will produce tech documentation, once the feature will be fully developed
I think we can start taking a look into the legit content that was updated, I think we can maybe find something.
I heard that the brabham is not encrypted and from there you can get the necessary values for the rain elements.
A quick info: just now I was notified by another GP3 team they moved to rFactor2 + our GP3 Series for their drivers performing factory training and tests.
Impressive. The work on the D4 and GP3 is very impressive. I use only this mods with ISI / S397's mods. Sincerely thanks for the work you do, with incredible reliability (real car data, real contacts with pilots or engineers etc.). Your work deserves remuneration for the last reasons I mentioned. Have you put a system for donations?
My personal opinion is that it is better never blending hobby and love with remuneration. In this way I'm feeling free to do everything for my personal pleasure at first and the interest for what I do is the best reward. I also hate any kind of DLC: I prefer to pay the game/sim once more time after a big step in the development, than for additional mods and tracks. I know that the mates that developed few mods with me, participating to the free group (SMG), are closed to my feeling and I consider myself a very lucky man in having found such talented guys!
First off, congrats Slow Motion, we are proud of you and our favorite sim as well(hides credit card behind his back) I would like to ask, which CPM is the mod using for tires and if it's not the latest if there's any room in implementing the updated CPM in the mod that, according to S397 themselves, corrects errors of the previous one and is more accurate and realistic. Apologies in advance if this one has already been discussed
@christos_Swc Michael Borda provided first new test tires one month ago. I reported to him what is good (much better than previous CPM) and what needs to be investigated, due to the Mr.D's advice. We can only wait for the next step, no idea about time.
this mods looks and sounds great, the physics from what i could tell felt great too,but i have this vibrating in the ffb as soon as i leave the garage, its like ive flat spotted the tyres or im driving over a constant rumble strip, wheel is t300rs any ideas how to fix this,i take it the issue is on my end otherwise everyone would experience this
?? @haunetal1990 I'm not sure I understand what you referring to or implying? Sorry did I miss something here?
Unfortunately I do not use that steering wheel and for sure somebody will answer to you better than me, but an attempt is to set FFB SMOOTHING to a lower number. That is a value really "personal" but playing with it should fix your problem.
I had to set smoothing to 11 to get rid of it. I’ve had this with the first radical also, and other t300 users reported the same.
