Noticed the FFB Minimum torque is also in the Controller settings menu now too and the additional setup options for the Karts are in too. Nice build ISI lots of nice improvements and I don't think I've ever had a build which runs as smoothly as this one either. Great Job.
thx Noel much appreciated........ We deleted the whole install and started again there seemed to be and issue with the plr files for each mod but I thin it's working now...
It is linked with the (some) settings in the .RCD Talent-file. It (in MY understanding and experience) gives the values in the RCD more "weight". So they "matter" more, the effect of them on AI-performance is bigger with higher AIlimiter-value, so higher AIlimiter should spread them out more (what maybe can have a contrary effect (related to some posts here in forum) when RCD-values are too similar and/or cars are too similar and/or some other influences, you don´t know....it´s rFactor 2,- genius and chaos are nearby).
I think the Limiter may have a bigger effect on Oval Racing hence its inclusion to the Menu shortly before the NASCAR comes out, especially as the JSON has the line: limiting used to make racing closer but also make more driver differences on flat-out tracks I'm not 100% sure but I don't recall seeing the bolded bit in previous Builds (but then I've never really fiddled with this setting, always concentrated on RCD instead), could be wrong though, would be nice to get a bit of clarification from ISI as to its proper purpose seeing as it's now a proper option in game. I did a quick test last night at Malaysia with the Civics and noticed a change from 0% -> 100%, will try an Oval later if I get time.
We need "BoostEffects" variable working again, or whatever other variable to change fuel consumption with new engines.
Well, at least I am not crazy or blind because this does not exist under "Vehicle set" in either location and my game is V.982 I did a Verify Installation and all files passed. Should I reinstall from scratch?
Very strange! Can't hurt to try a lite install over the top of your existing installation first. Failing that, yeah a proper clean, fresh install would probably be the best way to go. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
Thanks Justy, I'll give a Lite install on top a try and see what happens. Update: Something in the UserData folder was causing the FFB Minimum Torque setting to not show up. I tried running the lite 982 installer on top of it and the setting still wasn't there. Next I backed up the userdata folder and removed it from the documents/RF2 location and reinstalled using the lite installer of 982 to get a new userdata folder and the setting for FFB Min Torque is now there. I just have to redo my settings and am good to go.
