I am not a techie but I've followed a lot of recommendations and feedback from guys in the know (that work with it) from Vader Trophy Racing. Personally I can recommend Gigabyte, have had 3 bits from them (1 CPU, 2 GPU) and I cannot complain. MSI seems to be good too. Just don't know what Latin America gets from the US and Europe....
Yeah, I like more the Gigabyte line than the MSI. Everything comes from china, so, it's the same all around the world. Thanks for the help.
Mh, AA-level 3 InGame (at least, 1+2 is same I think) still donĀ“t work for me! Jumps always back to no AA at all! Confirmation please someone?
Okay Massive noob alert here, i haven't played or updated rfactor 2 in a long time i know how the updating works for cars and tracks and such like, but the new game builds? can i only update them once i renew my yearly rfactor 2 subscription?
If you`re on a very old Build, the best way would be to uninstall everything (because of a lot of changes, with player files etc.), download the Light Build and install complete new. Offline driving should be working, without renew your rfactor 2 subscription. But to support ISI, it would be nice, to buy annother year online subscription
You don't have to have a subscription to autoupdate but you do have to have a build new enough for it to autoupdate. I'd do what Juergen-BY said to do.
Download the Lite Installer from the website. Open your rF2 installation and delete your player.json file (or .ini if it's that old) and all the contents in userdata/CBASH ans Shaders. Install the downloaded Lite version over your existing installation.
If you read his post carefully, you'll notice he said "i know how the updating works for cars and tracks and such like"...
but does he know, that on the latest Build (maybe) older vmod and/or rfmod files could crash rF2? Anyway, if somebody is on a very old Build, at least before 930, it`s the best way, to install everything new.
Thank you for your help guys! i will uninstall and reinstall everything fresh! it has been a while for me but im sure i can figure out what to do with mods and things! if i need any help i know who to ask Thanks again much appreciated!
anybody knows, when the next build is comming?? B946 is very old Any Info's about release or changes?
next weekend Changelog: - complete new Contact Patch Model (wear + 500%) - new GFX Engine (DX15) - Complete Endurance Class with 18 Cars - 8 New Tracks, Laser Scanned and much more
Finally I upgraded from i3 530 to i5 4690k and all the problems disappeared, even using the same rf2 installation, same memory and same video card. If you want real simulation, upgrade your system.
A new build (release candidate) had been tested, one or two weeks ago, but failed. So I assume it will be very soon But, after being tested properly!!! (We all want a build that works, right )
