Looks like the physics thread is completely gone for a couple of seconds while the graphics thread is unaffected. With an i7 CPU the first thing that comes into my mind is to deactivate SMT/Hyperthreading in BIOS (physics thread runs on a virtual core?).
I still have stuttering problems with this build. In general is better than 930 but in some tracks and with some cars it's not sim racing, it's sim guessing, you don't know what the car is doing because you receive so few feedback that it's like an arcade machine. Impossible to improve if you don't know what's going on. I get 220 FPS but it's like be driving in a bad dream. Total frustration.
I have Intel (R) HT Technology = Disabled. XD Bit Capability, Speedstep Tech and C state tech are all enabled
Edit #3 - Looks like I'm good now or at least at Malaysia which is a good start to help the process of elimination. I'll leave the below in case helpful for later reference but not needed unless something else turns up so I am going to gray it out for now... Thanks. I will do that. Also, I decided to re-install Win 7 since it had been a while and system getting cluttered and now performance is TERRIBLE. Prior to Win 7 re-install was running everything maxed with 29 AI and the above was only problem I had. Now it seems I can't maintain 60 FPS even with much lower settings Here is exactly what I have done... Fresh Win 7 install Fresh rF2 install + validated ; Only content installed (from rF2 UI) = Spark Historics and South Shore track ; No plug-ins installed No other software installed other than Chrome GTX 760 ; Nvidia 341.44 Installed afterburner and noticed GPU utilization dropping with FPS drop Afterburner log ==> View attachment 16454 Any ideas? Many thanks in advance. Edit - I forgot to mention that Google search mainly turned up temperature problems, which I didn't see and game bugs. Edit #2 - Just tried Malaysia North and MUCH BETTER so no idea what happened to South Shore as it performed beautifully before Win 7 re-install? I am going to check Malaysia full now just to make sure...
Hello speak no English 'm here for like much of the simulator and the ISI , well do not understand cuz so few clues and q from 2011, but already there was not to have more? cade Spa , Suzuka , Monza ( I satisfy myself with only one of them already q simulator has features that no one else has ... Another thing because so much delay to clean up the rain of the simulator due to bringing many pro RF2
I get the same thing on W8 everything runs as good or better except rF2. If it was not for that I would have gone W8 fulltime. Never tried it without Afterburner though, mmmm might investigate W8 with the new drivers. Rainy day, no one online, so it is either a fresh W8 test or pCARS offline and simulate real weather outside...................... lmao W7 using my image or a fresh C drive I can get same fps every time but W8 has me stuffed. What is strange is that W8 rF2 has better fps in pits then W7 but when I go to track it suddenly drops 20/30fps and looks and feels slightly laggy.
Cumprimentos à comunidade PT-BR and the others too of course
...... and scene! Nice to see the spark of Portuguese here but now it's been taken care of, no more language hijacking from us .
I noticed that the rims looks different now. On previous build the rims are illuminated very nice. You were able to see it with the Gt vette for example at tiger moth r1 very nice. Now with the same car & track, the rims aren't (really) illuminated. They look a bit boring and flat. Maybe the rimshader must be changed because of the new tonemapper? Did everyone noticed this, too?
