Just out of curiosity, how would I do the same?

 

How do I get rid of HUD? You can choose HUDs in customize options but where do I choose not to have any HUD?

 

It is one of the number keys, can't remember which one.

 

1,2,4,5,6,7 whatever. activate/deactivate

 

It required unpacking it all (well UImaps mas file), changing the image and re-packaging it.

 

This UI is beautiful, simple, effective, simply the best.

 

Ahh, right... I think I`ll be keeping the formula car then...

 

I`ve had a bit of a chance to try the new hud now and I can only agree with the others...

It`s clean and quite easy to use once you look around a bit. I was so used to ISI`s hud that it took a bit of looking and clicking here and there to find things but after a play about it`s good and well done, certainly for a first release.

I know there have been a couple of things pointed out about the lack of setup notes etc... one thing I noticed was there is no "AI" icon on the screen when the AI are driving the car as there is with the ISI hud...

No biggie but just something I noticed.

All in all, great job.

 

This is a great start.

I second the suggestions of having an image of selected car and track shown in the main screen as mentioned on the 2nd page (but not that rf2 watermark as the same post suggested), and also would like to suggest implementing a higher contrast of colors for clickable options or already selected buttons. Currently there's a faint change from the grey to dark grey, both with white lettering. I like the lettering and fonts, perhaps have darker grey on selected buttons, and a more faint shade on things you can't click.

 

Thanks for sharing all your hard work. As others have mentioned, I'd need the ability to add specific AI (ISI UI has it in a drop down box) before I can use this UI though.

Same here, and I finally did it. It was simple than never: just an email and password and done. They don't even verify by sending an e-mail for validation.

BTW, one of the best things in this UI is the option to scrool replay time quicker (not only with arrow keys like in previous) while on live server (not only on replay). Very usefull for broadcasts to check for previous incidents, etc.

Is it possible to rewind (by mouse) in monitor mode?

 

It's the internet. I'll find it somewhere else, I'm sure. I prefer not to use RD for anything.

Yep. I have an account there, created long ago. I was looking to see if they have an option to deactivate like some other sites do, but it doesn't appear to be an option.
