Wow...

I actually hadn't driven these cars much because I'm still waiting for the Aston cockpit.

But having two friends over for a hotseat/hotlap competition at Sebring (they are GT5/PS3 players, never tried a serious PC sim before) they ran with bonnet view and I decided I might as well use the AM in the same way.

What a blast.

I know I'm not a super-serious 100% sim hardcore racer, but these cars are just difficult enough (I'm still 8 seconds off the AI at 100%) while being manageable enough to not be frustrating. It's somewhere between what Codemasters would do and what ISI is doing with their Howstons or F1 (both of which appear very unmanageable to my two friends).

Really excellent afternoon was had by all.

 

This is the outcome of my holidays. It was a fun week for me for sure.

Nothing released, I guess that simply means that he's not finished yet. I'm just getting frustrated when reading this thread, how rude and demanding some people are Go play with the Darche while you wait, it's awesome.

While we're at it, will there be a Lamborghini and what name will it have?

 

No Lambo in the Tudor United Sports Car series, which is what this mod is based on (well, American Le Mans originally I believe, but that's now part of the Tudor series). We will be getting the Ferrucio (the 458) though, hopefully sometime soon after the AM is finished. Then the prototypes in another mod after that. The Lambo you are looking for will probably be in the Apex GT3 mod at some point.

 

Ah well, as far as I know there are no M3s in the ALMS, right?

 

There were Z4s in ALMS, and I believe in Tudor as well. I don't know about an M3, but this mod has the Z4 though, doesn't it? I honestly don't know the difference between the 2.

 

The Z4 is a roadster, whereas the M3 is a coupe.

 

There is no M3 in TUDOR.

Few small things left on AM cockpit than im done and it will go ingame. Im working here as much as i can guys. It was allways worth the wait wasnt it? I guess a day more can hurt so much.

 

Ales just let them brag and do it your way As you say quality over quantity and you have so far created the best rF2 mod there is imho, so you can expect a lot of peoples enthusiasm and want for more

as long as you keep up the outstanding quality of the cars you did so far.
Some people just can´t live without whining and complaining about something.

rF2, AC or pCars are in Alpha/Beta status like forever so i guess you came along much quicker with your work

I understand the defensivness on behalf of Ales, and I still like the guy

But honestly... how many of you have already paid for this mod months ago? It's easy to say "Don't whine" if you purchased in the last ten days or your favorite car is already fully included. I *solely* bought this mod to race the Aston versus the AI. If the Aston had been the first pit instead of the Venom, I'd never have said a word again.

So, what you call "rude and complaining" is a matter of perspective, no?

 

Take your time, one week even 2 weeks....doesn't mind! Quality needs time.
