Hi URD Team,

first of all, I have to admit I was fighting myself about wether I should spend money on modded cars for a game. Second, I couldn't warm my heart to cars that have "made up" or fantasy names, yet look like cars from real life.
Then something strange happened. I bought the pre-order version of EGT for € 9,90 because I wanted to know... and guess what, I can comfortably say that this mod is worth every cent, if not more. I honestly apologise to the guys making this mod if I was bashing their work a while ago. Forgive me, I did not know better.

I will now go hide under the next rock I can find.

The cars have to have fantasy names unfortunately because URD takes money for it but they dont have the cars licenced. Any skinpack for the mod could change that without a problem

I working as much as i can, no weekends for me sofar. Will work today and tomorow whole day to try to finish it.

 

Is there point in getting this mod if I don't like endurance races? (I only have will and time to do max 1 hour races)

So are these cars build only for endurance races or are they good for sprint races too?

i fact, with the current tyre wear, i think they are only fit for sprint racing :-D

 

Thats part of the challange getting the tyres holding up over a long stint. It really depends on the track. Silverstone is pretty hard on tyres, but places like Bahrain have less tyre wer.

What i like to see in this mod are Lola prototypes like the Rebellion Lola and the Dyson Lola.

 

So, I have tested some of the cars for about two days now.
What I want to know, are the tyre sounds dynamic or something? It feels to me they sound different in different situations.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to hear them in replays? Is it me or is this a known issue?

The cars overall give you so much feedback, I'm almost convinced they are living and breathing things.
As strange as it may sound. Just my subjective opinion.
I have never driven a real racecar but if I had to chose I'd say THIS is what a racecar should feel like. The physics are brilliant! As far as I can judge that kind of thing.

 

Next mod package will have prototypes, but separate purchase.

 

My friend is an AC super fan and when he tested the Porsche he said" damn this car feels much much better than all AC GTs cars"!

 

Any photos of the AM cockpit to tease us until it's release?? Would be great to give us a glimpse of your work Ales...
