The only graphics card I would recommend in that budget would be this: Radeon HD 6670 DDR3 if you are looking for new.

If you can find someone selling a used 5670 it would be better, or any other 6XXX or 7XXX graphics cards in your price range, though I would avoid anything that is lower than X6XX.

The problem you are going to run into is that your CPU is weak compared to what the graphics card would like to have, so you won't realize the full potential of any new card you can find. You will also need to be sure that the power supply in your computer has a 6pin connector for the graphics card as without it, your system won't even display anything.

For a few more horse powers from your setup It should also be worth mentioning that your Pentium CPU with your Gigabyte motherboard could be overclocked. If you could manage that. :)

Bios settings can be tweaked quite easily, this should give you a nice easy 3Ghz from your E2200

Go in to the 'MB Intelligent tweaker' menu in BIOS,

Change settings in this order, normally helps.

CPU Voltage to - 1.4v, then reboot (F10), then back into BIOS,
CPU Clock ratio at x10 (default is 11)
CPU Host Clock Control to 'Enable'
    CPU Host Frequency at 300mhz
    Performance Enhance - Standard
Memory Multiplyer (SPD) - Auto or 2.00
    F10 to save and restart

Should give you quite a significant boost! 800mhz cpu power for free!!

    Happy days :)

If you are going to overclock, keep in mind that every CPU can get to a different level. What one can do another can not do. Also, you will want to be sure to keep your CPU cool. Stock heatsink and fan setups are usually not up to keeping an overclocked CPU cool. You may have to invest in a better cooler. If you are not familiar with overclocking, be extremely cautious as you could fry components on the motherboard if things go really wrong. Overclocking is not to be undertaken lightly.

Thanks GearJ, forgot about the temps :)

Though from what I can remember on my old setup, very similar to fyllos. Temps with stock cooler were around the 25-30 mark at idle. Running 1.35-1.4v's upped temps to around 40 degrees idle. Playing a game 50-55 tops. No zee problem for our dual core family :)

I decide to make an emprovement to my pc.
    The motherboard is Gigabyte GA-G31M S2L, LGA775

    1. The only cpu i can find is Intel core 2 duo E7500 2.93Ghz.

    2. Graphics card i can buy the one Gearjammer suggested (Radeon HD 6670 DDR3), but i have ddr2 ram, is this problem?

    3. What do you think? Is this ok to run rfactor2? In which perfomance will play? Is it worthing the money?

    4. Any other suggestions for better perfomance?

    Thanks

Just make sure that your power supply can handle the graphics card before you spend the money otherwise you are likely to have a card with no way to use it till you get a new power supply. The main thing to look for is to be sure that it has a power connector designed to connect to the graphics card. Typically this would be a 6 pin connector with 2 sets of 3 pins side by side.

And how i connect it with the card. The card hasn't 6 pin connector.

Where are you from Fyllos? :)

An E7500 would be great. How much is it? There are alot of old Core2Duo's on ebay and most would run 100% perfect in your motherboard, even 2nd hand ones.

As Gearjammer suggested before though, a new power supply is a vital part of your PC system. If your old power supply is under too much load it could damage other components. Do you know what power supply you have now?? Model number like?
This is a half decent Power supply and would see you well,

The graphics card GearJ recommended, HD 6670 is DDR3 yes, the ddr3 memory on the graphics card itself is separate from your motherboard memory, so no need to worry about that :)

Good thing with a HD5670 is they dont need external power!! I used to have one myself. Asus AEH5670 and was pretty quick for what it was! It could run Crysis 2 on 1080p with low graphics, it managed it well!

As you noticed the 6670 doesn't have an additional 6 pin power connector, it draws all its power from the PCI Express slot it's plugged into.

Interesting, I hadn't look closely at the 6670 and you are correct, it appears they made it so it doesn't need the extra external power connected. That is one less worry for you there. With your power supply being a 300W one, it should be ok as long as you don't have tons of stuff connected to it.
