The relative difference between other cars and the 2012 F2 isn't because you use a G27, it is because the F2 in real life doesn't have as much feedback, especially in slower corners as other cars do. Some have suggested that this is because of the average or minimum age of the drivers and their lower arm strength compared to someone who is older and has spent time developing their upper body strength. As far as setting up the filters, there are a few threads that talk about this and several people have posted their controller files to make things easier to setup for better feel and lower noise levels from the G25/27 wheels. In general though, it is suggested that the Logitech profiler be set to 107% strength and medium detail with in game settings of 4 for the FFB smoothing and somewhere around .85 for the car specific ffb, but you will have to play with the numbers to achieve the feel you are wanting to get.
I believe it is in the UI now with your current build. If you did a full install it should certainly be there. I think most people use 8.
http://formula1.brembo.com/index.php?lang=en Seems Spa is the easiest track for braking system, makes sense with all those series of corners, you dont brake too often there Look at THIS though I think I'd really blackout during that.
Currently, is the overboost modelled which increases engine output by 75bhp? Similarly, is the in-cockpit front wing adjustment modelled? I assume since neither are available that it's just been disabled for beta testing, or has it not been modelled at all? Not that I am hell-bent on the finer details, but they are very obvious features of the current Williams JPH1B.
Have you tried mapping a button for the front wing adjustment to see if it works? There is a place in the control setup for it.
I have. I didn't notice anything moving from external views nor did I feel anything change in the handling,
Then it must not be implemented yet, though the only car I know that would have that function right now would be the F2 2012 edition so I guess it isn't a huge priority at the moment.
Yep as originally stated, I'm not hell bent on the detail or it being priority, just wanted to know if it had been implemented - particularly the engine power since no stats are available.
Well thats a kick in the teeth, bet ISI are'nt too thrilled at this outcome as they would've got a few extra subscribers next year with proper promotion, now its just another Ex Formula that people might not wanna bother with in a Sim game, shame really.
It's annoying, but it's far worse for the guys involved, I'm sure, and no series is really immune at that level (Star Mazda, for example). The intention was for it to be long-term, updating year on year. Oh well... It got the Turbo code implemented.
