Anyone willing to share a setup for the URD Ferruccio? JUst looking for a good stable "base" set that I can tweek from track to track. Has to be something that doesn't destroy the front tires in just a few laps
https://www.dropbox.com/s/8pg4z78efeslyts/458_1410.svm?dl=0 This is my Ferrucio setup for Interlagos. Not sure how "stable" it is though lol. But if you're looking for a balanced setup that makes it easy to manage wear evenly between fronts and rears, this is quite good. I ran a 50 min. race at Interlagos with this, and at the end there was only 1-2 percent difference in wear, front to rear, with the rears actually being the most worn. You have to be very aware of your driving style though... If you choose to push every lap, this setup won't work. Push hard for a lap or two, then ease off a bit (0.200 - 0.300 per lap aprox.). Be sure to use lifting/coasting as a way of letting the rear go a bit loose in the slower corners too. This helps spreading the wear rearwards if your fronts start to boil.
Good setup, baristabrian will have a good base (stable). Mine has same aero settings as yours, a little bit softer damping all around, and different spring settings, 210 F, 193 R, 2mm lower rear eight and stronger brake pressure. Feels very similar to mine, which is surprising, lap times in the same ballpark. Cheers.
Just found this one here: http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/howston-g6-mkiii-1969-for-brianza-10k.96002/ Haven't tried it yet
Fairly happy with this DW12 Honda setup for Indy5oo. Racepace with full tank: 39,7. Qualification time 39,4. Enjoy! View attachment 15118
Anyone recommend a good historic car to use ie: old 70's BMW, fords, vauxhalls/opels etc etc.. Tracks we'll be using are zandvoort, paul ricard and kylami... Never drove the historics before so thanks in advance
I cannot thank you enough for this setup; it has saved my sanity and reassured me that I can have fun with RF2. I just have to learn how to set the cars up in the same style as this. It's ace. With all aids off, it's like having full ABS and TCS. Genius work. All others should take note. Thanks.
After I basic Clio setup if anyone is offering? I'm not fussed about top speed, I just need sharp handling. I hope this is ok? I'd love to understand setups to do my own in future but I need a good one to compare to.
Here is my DW12-Indy`14 setup after a couple of hours of testing today - https://www.mediafire.com/?72mibuwqy44ohm4 I found default suspension setup to be inverted to how I actually prefer it in formula cars. My setup is supposed to have less "floating" feeling at the front (best lap so far is 1:12.319). I`ve got a tip for gear ratios from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aJ1Pvfay8M
