EVE F1B at Essington Park Here's my setup for Essington with the EVE F1B. Car: EVE F1B Mod Version: 1.42? Track: Essington Best time: 1:44:300 Game Build: 342 File: View attachment 10750 I managed a 1:44 low, but I think it's possible to get down to 1:43 and probably high 1:42 too.
Nissan GT-R at Sebring Car: ISI Nissan GT-R GT1 Mod Version: 1.43? Track: Sebring 12H Layout Best time: 2:04 Game Build: 342 File: View attachment 10751 I think I had managed a 2:01 very long time ago, but I can't find any records of it. Last time I tried a GT-R at Sebring I only got to 2:04, but it's definitely possible to do better.
F2 Palm Beach. This is what I'm using at the moment if anyone wants to try it/tweak it. Will probably need more fuel in for a decent length race
I don't have much skill with setups but as there are so few posted up I thought I'd add the one I use at Nords with F2 If you know what you are doing with setups you will probably want to do your own but if you have no clue then you might want to try it. F2 Ring Tourist
Gents Someone wrote that at Limerock Park there was a kind of infield-skid pan type place. I went there and drove around and could really only find what looked like the car parks. The lower one with a few cones and the upper one. Have I missed something? or is there another place? I want to test some setup work with constant G. Thanks
F2 @ Istanbul Park This is a base setup with gears adjusted for Istanbul Park. I use this setup at many tracks adjusting only gearing. View attachment 11021
ISI C6R at Silverstone. Can anyone post a nice setup and what kind of times you guys are doing would be appreciated. I play with ABS only.
cant access SVm from this pc at work but do know Aliens are running at 1;02 and mortals 1;04/06..(nil aids)
You mean 2:02? Sry didn't specify, GT layout. I can do low 2:04's now. Are you saying I'm almost non-human? Surely I'm not that fast.
I think the biggest challenge with the vette is finding the right balance of rear end stability and high speed for the straights. They seem to be contradicting eachother which provides for a big challenge. When things go wrong with the C6 for me it always ends in the same fashion. Slowly the rear comes around and you can't recover it. Sometimes you can bring the nose back the other way and chances are your snap oversteering in the other direction. Out of frustration you tweak the setup trying to balance the car better, and when you think you got everything nailed you get waxed down the straights by the AI. They're pretty damn quick tbh. I did notice in certain parts of the track they seem too fast to keep up, and at other parts they're too slow. I guess this comes down to the AI calibration? As long as their lap times are relatively consistent every time you load it up is all that matters I guess. At 100% difficulty most of the AI are in the 2:03-2:05 range which is fairly quick. I have seen them dip into the 2:02's for qualifying which is well out of my league. This combo can get frustrating for me at times but it's such a great challenge I always keep coming back for more. One of these days Ima pull off a podium. I'll just continue playing around with the setup to squeeze every last drop out of it. If anyone can post a nice setup I'd be interested to see what you changed. Thanks.
I found that for my driving style the secret for the Corvette lies in the frontwing. Default setup is too nose-heavy. I just set the frontwing to 1 (one click down) and the aero balance was just fine. I only have a dedicated Nordschleife setup, I use it on all tracks as a base, gears have to be adjusted of course View attachment 11706
