use Shift+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust all mirror reflection heights

use Shift+Alt+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust mirror reflection
note: these physical mirror position adjustments are for the in-cockpit center mirror only

Left Mirror use Ctrl+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust left mirror reflection

Center Mirror use Ctrl+Alt+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust center mirror reflection

Right Mirror use Alt+Seat view adjustment controls to adjust right mirror reflection

"Moving Rearview" in the player.plr to "0". This way the mirrows are separate from my seat position.

Yes this is one sweet feature!

You can adjust the heights and widths and together make the mirrors more accurately reflect the actual distances to the cars around you. That whole "objects in the mirrors are closer than they appear" thing can be fixed now.

I have a request about the mirrors can u make them go beyond their limit because i have the seat pushed all the way in so the mirrors are useless because you cannot point them farther down than +/-100 i don't know why 100 is limit because you could easy make limit for +/-500. I have tried to edit in player.plr but the problem is you cannot edit there because every car saves different setups any thoughts?

I set "Moving Rearview" in the player.plr to "0". This way the mirrows are separate from my seat position.

Does setting "moving mirror" in the plr file make it so I can adjust the mirrors up and down... I can only move them from side to side and in and out. Not up and down. I have to move my seat to do that.

How do you adjust the height and width? Cars looks squished horizontally. I need a warning in my mirrors... "objects in the mirrors are WIDER than they appear"

If memory serves I think you hold control key on the right hand side to move both mirrors up and down.

    @ Ricknau

sorry, hopefully someone else can offer a more definitive explanation.

i haven't had to do this since my original post. it was accomplished by using some combination of SHFT CTRL ALT and the seat adjustment keys. there's a bit of a hint in the PLR file but not enough for me to remember exactly what did what. it was all trial and error, but eventually i was able to adjust the height to width ratio and the distance perspective to my liking.

also not sure where or how that gets stored.

    Clarification to the OP:

    Ctrl+Alt+Shift+W/S/A/D = Nothing
    Ctrl+Alt+W/S/A/D = Nothing
    Alt+Shift+W/S/A/D = Nothing
    Ctrl+Shift+A/D = Nothing

Ctrl+Shift+W/S = Move the camera position of all mirrors forward and back (this should change the FOV, not the camera position :( )

Shift+W/S/A/D = Change vertical/horizontal angle of all mirrors

Ctrl+W/S = Move the camera position of the left mirror forward and back (this should change the FOV, not the camera position :( )
Ctrl+A/D = Change the horizontal angle of the left mirror

Alt+W/S = Move the camera position of the right mirror forward and back (this should change the FOV, not the camera position :( )
Alt+A/D = Change the horizontal angle of the right mirror

Return the mirror positions to default/zero:
While adjusting whatever axis it is you want to adjust, hit the button for both directions of that axis to center that axis. Example, hitting Ctrl+A+D = center the left mirror's horizontal tilt. Ctrl+W+S = center the left mirror's vertical tilt.
