This is by far the best track for any sim i have played I've been running the FR3.5s on this track, which is tons of fun!
Just adding to the list of praise that this track has received. Fantastic! I've never driven it up until last night. I loved blasting around in the F2! The attention to detail is really exciting to know that this is what rF2 is capable of and what we have the potential of seeing in more future releases. Well done!!!! The blending of grass and dirt textures is amazing and will hopefully be adopted by all modders.
Great job on Croft Feels3 raced around it couple of times and its only 1 hour from me. One of the best looking tracks out there you did a great job. Only a few downsides, one is night lights like people have mentioned, the other for me is all the signs on track etc. Croft is a club circuit very rarely used for stuff like BTCC so maybe a club .scn with the billboards removed?
I remember watching BTCC here when they ran with the smaller single seaters, and during those single seater events they took the tyre bundles away for obvious safety reasons, and replaced them for the tin-tops. I've found its the same in RF2; hitting them with a GT car isnt an issue but causes a big accident in the FR3.5s So, id like to see a separate layout with and without the stacks
I don't know if buglist has this already, but 2nd last corner, there are emergency vehicles and at front of them is containers, I drove trough containers and emergency vehicles as my brakes were not as good as I did remember them to be... From there I could then turn left, drive behind the garages and drive trough garages to pitlane. Those containers might perhaps be such that are meant to have collision on?
The first time I saw footage of croft was on MotorsTV. It was British F3, and the tire walls (at least at the chicane, which is the only part I really remember from the footage) were actually there.
Feels3 the track is great so much fun, a few of us are running the dirt track in the center just to pass the time in practice and qualifying for a bit of rallying fun, best thing is you dont get disqualified but it also doesnt count the lap so its ok. If I had to give any constructive feedback I'd say the HDR and colouring wasn't right for a northern british track but its still great and growing on me, I will have to run it a few more times.
I can create few layouts, it doesn't cost to much time so it's not a problem for me. If you have any suggestions just let me know.
is it possible to have in future the 1967 Croft Historic layout? (like GPL version) http://gpltd.bcsims.com/?dis=C&menu=Show_Letters 1967: PDF: http://gpltd.bcsims.com/track_images/Croft/map/map-Croft.pdf 2001 (and actual -i think-): PDF: http://gpltd.bcsims.com/track_images/Croftnew/map/map-Croftnew.pdf you can see the original track in google maps screen: https://maps.google.it/maps?q=Croft...t+Circuit,&hnear=Darlington,+Regno+Unito&z=17 if it's too complicated np
Yeh... a 67 historic version of Croft would be awesome to have with the 60`s historic content we have to drive. Good call Mauro...
