Well they should stop making statements that say little to nothing, we are committed etc.
Another sim with bits and pieces of series with no rhyme or reason ?
    Up against AC2 ?
    No thanks.

Multi series you jump from sim to sim without having to adjust much would be nice change.
More so feel and drive the same.

Well yes and .... no. I don't want an Indycar sim to drive like F1. I wouldn't expect a Super V8 Aussie car to behave like a DTM GT3. You can have some familiarity of function, menus and the like, but the cars...the cars must be different.

It's a myth to suggest that purposely build sims are superior .. history has more than proven it's the opposite. Sand box sims have up to this point have offered far superior overall experience ... Ac, iracing, Rf2.

That depends on what motivates individuals to play the titles they do.

That is why so many are happy driving arcade and ports.
For the large part the driving is much the same so they can jump from sim to sim without needing a pilots licence.
That is all I want for hardcore sims.

Most don't care hardcore physics tyres and FFB vary so much engine to engine.
    I do. Yes, different strokes.
If AMS2 and ACC drove like rF2 I would have as many hours in each and less in rF2.

When I'm referring to purposly build I'm talking the likes of CM F1 or Acc.. sims that exist only to emulate one single series...

Well I have always held up hope.

See that is what I found going from rF2 to LMU and what I want for more series !
That transition would get better series to series, build to build.

I still hold hope for universal pro engine before I kick it so we can all enjoy series to the same level of base code :)

I see no future in Unreal or Madness other then eye candy.
They can say rF2 looked like a cartoon but imho AMS2 and ACC both look more "unnatural" then rF2 or LMU.

If they had the support they could easy develop both sims.
I know moronic, alas, no less true.

Imola can't wait for LMU, by then more fixes, 3 steps forward one back :D
Like ACC they have their signage on track :)
Watching qual. ...the Girls Lambo looked so pretty on pit straight with the tree pollen blowing about ?
They better get that effect in LMU or I am complaining

    :p

I highly doubt the updates, but I hope I'm wrong.

Project: release EA Community Historic sim with all current historic content redone and all best 3rd party included ( where licence allows )
Give modders control and free reign.
    Share the wealth.

    =========================

Basically what I asked 3 weeks ago ....
    Complete content + seasons (DLC)
Thing is I thought good but you not going to get new features added.
So use rF2 as placeholder to develop the content.
LMU goes okay, iron out more bugs, add roadmap features.
Later launch BTCC sim which by then (LMU) should include championship.
    Career maybe.

Not going to get that in rF2 are you ?

After that Supercars and Trans Am

The biggest issue with this game is the very poor AI.

Single seater cars driving as if they are at a bangers event is such a turnoff. Sadly, this goes for most sims, and not just rF2. If this doesn't get better, then there's no point in making more mods for this game.

Personally I think the AI Is pretty good In LMU, so there´s always hope that the same happens with rF2 unless It´s a hard code Issue.

Could be but It´s also hard to believe. In theory, and most likely In practice, LMU Is based on, or uses rF2´s game engine which If I am not mistaken Is the original on release ISI engine. By that I mean, If LMU´s AI Is good, and rF2´s AI "was" good back then, why Is It not so now?

Not that the AI In rF2 Is terribly bad, It´s just not out of the box good as LMU, or one has to really know how to dial It In, In order to get similar results as LMU.

The excuses of 'we cant do this for rF2 because it would break content' definitely raises eyebrows. I wonder how quick that gets backtracked now that LMU player numbers are nearly half of rF2 some days
