There is an issue with class.

 

And an other one here with naming (capital letters).

 

In Bahrain at night in VR the suit has strange reflections.

 

Yesterday I drove 2 races in Season 2022 at the Lausitzring against the AI and I can only say that I haven't had so much fun in a long time.

It depends of the fact suits + gloves (and + helmets) allow raining: to have it working these objects uses the same shader used for windows and it results to be more shining. It is a choice we did: allowing raining into an OW is more important... maybe a day S397 will create a specific shader.

 

Build 2.02 is out with the fixes for:
- wrong class season for #22
- capitals for #18

 

I remember to you that the old Steam ID build 2.00 is dismissed and the Steam ID of the current build 2.02 is new.
It means that, in certain case, you could still have the old 2.00 available into Steam folder and/or rFactor 2 folder.
If you want to look at, please follow this advice:
- check and in case delete the Folder steamapps\workshop\content\365960\1769899289
- check the folder ..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\Vehicles\SMMG Formula 3 Series and if there still is a 2.00 subfolder. If yes, delete it.
Now you are sure to have a clean installation of build 2.02 and further

I was driving the 2023 cars earlier (didnt try the others). All great except as soon as you start moving, there's an overpowering wind noise that seems too loud and disproportionate to speed and other sounds. Is there a way to lessen or disable that?

- updated warning led into steering wheel, due to code change by S397

 

It happened at the time S397 developed the new sound system. In effect in some case wind noise seems too loud, but it is an OW and we can live with it. In case you can try to decrease the "sound effects volume" in the sound settings of the game.
