Just tried the Alfa & have to say the car feels fantastic (Medium-Hard FFB on CSWv2.5) around the corners. Great job so far! I'll hopefully get to try the others out over the rest of the weekend.
Love the new version and steering feels now imho very good with my Simucube. Good work Sir Did a few races today and had great fun. On some tracks i noticed that some cars did one or more complete rollovers. Thruxton Turn 2 and Hockenheim (btw great track from you) turn 3/4. The cars lift off after touching the curb although the curbs are not that high and then rollover.
oh he remind me of a funny moment that these cars drove by ai roll one bu one on zandvort t3 after touch the inside high curb
After v1.3 i am even more impressed of this mod. Great work! Hopefully you will make more mods for rf2. How about an BMW M240i cup car. Yes, the rollovers also happen on nordschleife right hander brĂ¼nnchen.
Rollovers look similar to those of the Civic and Clio. There are some threads with discussion on that. However, it seems no one ever really found a real solution or fixed it. @Tommy78 did you use the Civic's physics as a starting point for your physics? Maybe that could at least be a an answer on the why, and at the same time help to identify what did not change and can now be changed to solve the rollovers!? In case the rollovers are limited to the AI, maybe modification of the AI parameters in the HDV could help!?
No, i didn't use the civic physics for base. We make it from schratch. But we already discuss about it, and yes it is something in the HDV. We will have a look and test it.
Not necessarily true. The issue could be more to do with the bump travel or spring rates. Lowering CoG would mask the issue.
HI @Tommy78 Did You drive the cars in the rain? There are raindrops inside the windscreen with 8% rain on the 24h Nordschleife track depending how the light falls in the cockpit. Claude
Seems so. Did just a quick test at Thruxton and Zandvoort. I was not able to rollover the car, the AI did. Dont know if it helps: the TT and the Seat Cup (btw. love both cars, they deserve an update) have the same issue
Hey @Tommy78 14 eu donation made but forgot to stipulate the platform! lol. rF2 please bud, cheers EDIT: Super quick service, link arrived! Thanks dude
Once the new version has been tested, I can say that I am quite happy with the changes, but there are still things that I don't like. -The steering wheel is still in the central area very loose, always talking about my direct drive OSW -When the car skids, I have no information on the steering wheel. -I still have many oscillations of the steering wheel going in a straight line, not as much as before, but it is annoying that the steering wheel moves from left to right and the steering wheel has to be held very tightly. For the rest, I am happy with this progress because now I can run with the cars of the wtcr 2018.
