You need to download the 32 or 64bits version of a DLL called openvr_api.dll on that site and replace the existing one in your rF2 installation under bin32 or bin64 directory : https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR/blob/master/README.md

Mmm thanks for the suggestion to put anti-aliasing to "Level 5" as it resolved my problem. I didn't launch rF2 for months and it was returning to the launcher each time I was clicking on "Race". This one is a pretty old bug I forgotten. I had this problem years ago.

I have the exact same problem with my T500RS, control working but no FFB. It happen...let's say once for around 20 races launch during the same session (without exiting rF2). Just Restarting the race (ESC=>Restart Race) is enough to get my FFB back.

In Steam top menu, select "Games" and "Activate a new product on Steam" (That's should be something like this, mine is in French). Enter the Key and Voila. It will download rF2 in your usual Steam games folder.
