I thought my problems were solved when deleting all the Fanaleds .dll's, but sadly it returned to me too. Yesterday during an online race on Monza (using the URD GT mod) things were fine during qualifying and the sprintrace, but in the warmup to the main race the FF went notchy. Like said...
Reinstall of rF2 and SteamVR did the trick. Not sure what was the culprit, but really glad it's solved now! I can race normally again. Thanks for the help Marc!
Yep, verified and on latest version rift software. It must be linked to SteamVR, since AC is working just fine.
I'll try to see if I can find our whether SteamVR is causing trouble or if it's related to the latest version of rF2.
Good to see I'm not alone in this. I'll try the non-beta version of SteamVR tonight to see if that makes a difference.
Happens to me with the EGT mod by URD and with the Radical by 397 at least.
Ever since I got back from vacation and installed the latest patch my cockpit FOV is way too high in VR. Before it was perfect and whenever it was slightly off, just ctrl+space solved it. Now the key seems to be backspace but it doesn't help. I feel like a four year old kid sitting in the car...
This is a great car. Very fun to drive. Only letdown is the lawnmower sound. I like the sound of this car in Pcars much better. Hope they'll improve it for rF2, cause it's a great car for cupraces.
Ah great, the latest update (today's) solved the problem for me! Working perfectly again now. Also nice to see we get a loading screen in VR now. Getting better and better!
Any acknowlegdgement of this problem at Studio397 guys? I'm having an Indy500 race next Sunday and I'd really like to drive it in VR, but it's gonna be impossible like this, since I'll be needing that pitscreen a lot.
Yep I know of that feature and added it to my keyboard. Sadly it doesn't do anything to solve this problem. I feel the reset in the wheel but it doesn't solve the weird FF sadly.
