I have a similar problem. I can install the track using Package interface, I can find the track inside Installed\Location folder, but I can not reach it inside the game! Inside old UI I can see it but in the new one it doesn't appear on tracks list! The track is Interlagos, available here...

I guess that only 3DS can be used to guarantee a perfect fit to the hands' driver!
