Hi guys,
We have started a huge challenge, bring to live the 90's Group C cars from Virtua-LM Group, that make an excellent job to all virtual racers community! This is an authorized conversion for old cars, from F1 Challenge and rfactor 1, that will cover most of the cars from 1990 to 1992.
The beasts are:
Jaguar XJR-12 and XJR-14
Porsche Kremer 962 CK6
Peugeot 905 Ev1 and 2
Mercedes/Sauber C291
Nissan R91 CP and R90 CP ( maybe 89 CP too!)
Toyota 90C-V and TS 010
Lola T92
Mazda MRX-01
Gebhardt C91
BRM P351
Brun C91

There are other models that can be included in future.
The program is converting all models to LE Edition, that means, same physics to provide the same skills for anyone. We'll also release a real physics mod at the future. The steps that we have planned and are performing are:
1 - 3D conversion for all cars in the list;
2 - little improvements on 3D models, to get more smooth surfaces and objects;
3 - High Resolution skins and DX11 full compatibility;
4 - Physics for League Edition Release
5 - Physics for Real Feel Edition Release

Some screens captures of we have already done!

Looking good so far. Hopefully, if this mod goes well and you don't get burnt out, that their 1983-84 mod gets converted. And then that is balanced with their 962 that is in this first version. V_LM is still the only mod that features a vast majority of the 962 variations.

I don't know and I don't care about that.
What I care is no money on our model.(PTC/GTPC models or older ones.)
OK, fine. Thanks anyway.
And another question, are u vlm member? If u are, how is the group working about rf2? VLM content are very awesome like mid ohio and vlm version le mans, I looking forward for more wonderful things! Thanks vlm for all these good mod.

Yes I worked on GTPC of VLM JT and VLM is gone. It is the reason why we decided to allow he conversion of PTC-GTPC in VLM JT.
The last member who is working in Simracing is Alex Hodgkinson: Physic maker at Sector 3.
Other members are away from modding I think. Personally I will use my 3D skills for scale model production.

PS: In VLM JT, when some guys asked to us if they can make a donation, we refused every time and said to donate to a foundation as John Paul Jr's foundation against Huntington disease. So a paymod on our work will be frowned....
