I've been having these (0.5 to 1sec) freezes online and offline after one of the new build. And after reading Yves post, I looked at the time spent in session when my next freeze occurred, and well it was at 33 minutes in an offline practice session (replays set to off).

I find the car easier to keep on track and actually faster if you do all your braking early and get back on throttle to control the rear and rotation of the car.

FANTASTIC track, really. This is by far the best track for rF2 imo. Been driving a few cars around for several hours, I don't think I ever stop smiling. With such a bumpy track, laser scanning, rF2's FFB and a direct drive wheel, it's just pure pleasure. Great details and textures, but...

Yes Brad it did fix the problem (at least with my set-up), I was trying every new software update hoping to have this fixed, until i saw this thread. Best 20$ spent in a while, a simple PCI-E USB 3.0 card. And as a bonus, my computer no longer hang on restarts with Accuforce on. And yeah...

Just to confirm that a simple PCI-E USB card fixed that problem for me. Cheap and easy solution just wish i did it earlier, now i can enjoy rF2 again :)

Thank you for this thread! I sadly gave up a while ago on rF2 as it was always crashing loading or leaving tracks. Came back testing DX11 but same thing again. Guess this could be my problem, Accuforce and Asus board with rFactor 2. I'll get a PCI-E USB card hoping it will fix this infuriating...

Really nice update, always had fun taking the BT20 and more recently the Cobra around that track. Now its even better. Nice job with replay cameras, love the new point of views. Lights aren't the best feature of rF2, but I'm happy with recent track quality, more details then most even if less...
