My feedback so far: Rating system looks a bit odd. If my expected position is 1 because I'm the highest rated driver, I certainly shouldn't get a negative rating if I were to finish second. In races with many splits, the difference between highest and lowest rated is arbitrarily small anyway...

Any idea how it's deciding who goes in front if nobody did the quali session? I assumed it was random, or maybe whoever joined the server in order.

After spending a disappointing evening sampling various mod tracks and finding I'm multiple seconds per lap faster in most of them (I'm no alien), I thought I'd ask you guys which non S397 tracks do you think have good ai. The ones that spring to mind for me are Sebring,Mid Ohio and Bugatti.

Thanks guys. As you say, being able to compare with others would be the most helpful. I imagine a third party tool that automatically uploads motec log files together with road conditions would be super helpful. Hopefully one day we'll see something like this.

I've started messing around with motec after installing the dam plugin, but I'm rather unsure what techniques to use in order to get the most out it to improve my laptimes. I understand the basics, like comparing 2 laps and looking at brake points, throttle application and steering position...

Don't know how I'd survive without my mute button on keyboard for doing setups. A workaround to hearing him whilst driving is that I've set engine to 100% , tyres 200% and everything else much softer which has helped drown out his droning about parc ferme. When I'm feeling especially angry...

Call me OCD, but the I find the announcer droning on about the same garbage on many tracks intensely annoying and being able to hear him whilst driving with a screaming engine, especially so, Is there any way to disable him? I tried sound effects off but made no difference.

Don't mind waiting if the devs have this as an issue on their radar. Threads like this serve the purpose of alerting them to improvements that could be made.
