Default options, missing garage setups and custom skins after failed replay load

Hello. I'm writing this bugreport about rf2 beta build 156. Here are the steps we think had something to do with occurring of this bug. This happened to me and one other invidual from management team of Trellet.net. 1. While logging in to private server on rf2 beta build 156. Both of us wrote...

anybody who failed to activate even thouh having a invoice number?

I think I have the same thing. I used visa and filled all information correctly. At the end of purchase there came a notice that purchase has failed or something. But still I got the invoice number. I haven't received email about the purchase, and I don't think that I ever will. Something went...

Minimum Recommended Server Specs for rFactor 2

Is 30 drivers maximum or can server handle more? We used 40 driver maximum with rFactor.

Minimum Recommended Server Specs for rFactor 2

    No. The server needs 22,5 Mbps upstream bandwidth to handle 30 cars. 768 kbps * 30 = 23040 kbps = 22,5 Mbps

Minimum Recommended Server Specs for rFactor 2

    I meant 24Mb of course.

Minimum Recommended Server Specs for rFactor 2

So if I wan't to host server for 30 players, I need to have internet connection with 24MB upstream bandwidth? Otherwise there will be lag?

Better game hosting in rFactor 2?

Configure your router to bridged mode, and the server will get public ip-address from your ISP.

    Estimate of pitstop time?

Pit stops are normal part of practicing to races. It is drivers own fault if he/she doesn't know how long it takes to refuel and chance tires. I'm not against this sort of thing being in rf2, I just don't know if there is need for it. Also modmakers should be able to disable this function...

    Sequential / Heal&Toe Shifter Improvements?

Modern V8 cars must have more technical solutions available to them that make this possible. But for example in 50's if your was made so that you had to double clutch and heel-toe, then you just did them or didn't drive that car.

Why rFactor needs a well designed driver class/rating system

This is starting to sound like a religion. People politely present their case, supporting it with reasonable arguments, and as soon as the opposition hears the word 'ranking' they start to shout "No no no, we don't want this! This is not good!" I think these people don't come to this stance...

Why rFactor needs a well designed driver class/rating system

This system could improve driving experience on public servers. I have driven carsims in a leagues since GTL, and I can tell you that the gap between public and private is huge. Most people who drive carsims, don't necessarily understand this, and might think that crashes, spins and such, are...

    Sequential / Heal&Toe Shifter Improvements?

In leagues this issue is important. Paddle delay must be adjusted to around 100ms so that paddle and h-shifter users will drive about same laptimes. H-shifter don't have delay because it is created by drivers hand movement. In rF1 I check if drivers are using correct upgrade by watching the...

Why rFactor needs a well designed driver class/rating system

It's sometimes truly amazing how some people can argue while not even understanding the original idea they are arguing against.

Why rFactor needs a well designed driver class/rating system

There should also be some system which gives more or less penalties according to what kind of car you are driving. For example if you race some massive muscle car from 60's, you don't really have to mind if you mildly hit the driver at you side. Those kind of cars don't really mind that much...
