It will be a pleasure to get Enduracers in rF2 as well. We used the rF1 mod for many leagues at Simjunkies and it is rated very highly amongst us there. Same as with APEX group as well. I could set up URD there, but finding it hard to get all in on buying it. I have tried So even though I love URD cars, we will just have to wait for our next WEC tour until we get something from Enduracers. Thank you both, or all 3 groups, for the passion you put into this.
Most of you were right, the Ligier JS P2 is under development ! The already famous LMP2 racer, introduced in 2014 for the Le Mans 24hours, is in works by the team and will join the mod once ready, but not in the first build release. We've prepared some renders for you :
Somewhere between now and the end of the year You know we are not much keen on release dates, we're not professional.
But the cars we will get and the cars we already have in rf1 are more than professional. They are right from heaven. Gesendet von meinem GT-I9301I mit Tapatalk
As reminder, the team is still looking for a 3D modeler to join us, so do not hesitate to contact us.
And the best thing is that they will have the correct car names and liveries, instead of a bunch of made-up words to get around copyright issues. This is why a modified version of this series is my mainstay on rF1; all the cars from over a decade of racing, looking just as they did on the track when I watched them. Hopefully independent modders will chip in with add-on packs here too.
Ooh, okay allowing for the fact that just maybe it might take longer, I won't hold you to that "by the end of the year" Excitement levels just went up a notch.
Easy if you have access to a source for pre-made skins, or infinite time to make your own. I've done this in the past (for F1C and rF1), and it takes more time than I really would like to spend; it's hard work to do a car properly. Also, you still have to track down team names and car details in the config files to edit. Given the choice between customizing cars and driving them, I know which one I'd rather spend my time on.
The cars modelling looks better than any professional paid racing game or simulator, congratulations.
I remember a lot of people bumped up the multis for the internal tire sounds. The default values were low which made it harder to detect a locked tire. But I think that was a design decision. It would be cool if rF2 had per car tire sound multis that could be adjusted in the UI. Because changing a tire sound multi in the sfx would require a repack which then makes it incompatible with the original component.
