im no expert but to me it look very anti aerodynamic

 

Mixture of 2012/13 nose and 2014, you cant beat that actually anymore...

 

Some wierd noses this year, indeed. But it feels like people just want them to look like 90's or 00's cars forever (maybe how they looked when they grew up and started watching f1 on tv)

What did people think about this one when they first saw it? A lot of wierd designs in f1 history, this is not the first time.



Caterham's nose design actually reminds me a little of the 312 It's not beautiful but it doesn't look that bad imo. The final part that holds the front wing in place is a little too round though... They could have made it a little sharper.

Imho Toro Rosso or Force India definitely has has the ugliest nose so far. Lotus is just extremely weird.

Mercedes is probably the best looking car, and Ferrari doesn't look too bad.

 

One look at that Caterham's nose coupled with my studies on Bernoulli's principal,
tells me the front will be very light at v-speed.
Those 'blocks' at the side of the ant-eater do concern me. I see a bit of drag developing there.
I just hope they've done something 'magical' under the floor of the car to claw back what I think will be a performance loss at the front.

 

Mercedes looks nice......it's between the mercedes or red bull.

So far the Mercedes and the Caterham are the only cars that don't make me want to never watch another F1 race again. The Caterham is fugly, don't get me wrong, but it's quite outside the box.

In one of my posts i have asked to change the title, as the topic creator I did not find that option anywhere, so it might be Tim who would have to do it, or its impossible what so ever, be as it may be, i did not intend to expand this topic to all teams when i was creating it, i only wanted to share my find of the McLaren pictures out, did not realize that the rest of the teams would follow almost immidiatelly,

Anyway i dont understand why are you so catchy when people mock those noses, they are ridicious and plenty of them definetly do not look any safer than last years, which was one of the major reasons why did they do this regulation change.
