2 things - at first a reason: - and secondly, I think I will go back to school. I allways used to think 11 excually was more then 10, what a fool am I
Will this be released as a series, or component form? I would love to drive the Watson, at say...Watkins Glen.
Oh sorry smartasses. I haven't yet seen the race (thanks for the spoiler), and indeed, there was less than ten cars in the previous races. And only 11 cars in the race (Indy, not the random race...) that used to get the most cars. I call that a dying series. http://www.sopwithmotorsports.com/blog/indycar/item/200-the-indy-lights-series-is-in-trouble-here%E2%80%99s-why.html A real life driver that tried to do the race called it also. But you guys are in better position to judge And I never complained about a licence that ISI got, even when I'm not interested in. I commented that if they didn't consider IndyLights, it wasn't surprising. Get lost.
Well done people. Another thread talking about something very positive, turning into a childish squabble!
LOL Its D**chbags like this that are putting such a collective Drain on Society Everybody has to listen to every little article you read and every little criticism that crosses your mind... Sigh...
I'm sorry the article is quite long (which dares to show some facts), it must be tough for you to read more than three words. I'm done with this forum, and modding for that matter.
Here's a few iconic/interesting 70's Indy car's to be considered for rFactor 2's Indianapolis 1. Al Unser 1971 Johnny Lightning Special Indy winner 2. Mark Donahue 1972 Sonoco Special Indy winner 3. A.J. Foyt 1977 Gilmore Coyote, Foyt's 4th Indy win 4. Al Unser 1978 Jim Hall Chaparral Indy winner 5. Al Unser 1979 Jim Hall Pennzoil Chaparral, didn't win but was first true ground effects car raced at Indy 6. Rick Mears 1979 Penske Gould Charge Indy winner, Mears first Indy win
I hate you ISI. Can you imagine how much I suffer watching the race, knowing that it'll be months before I can race there myself?
Man I can not wait to race these. I know they have said release after Silverstone before end of year, are we thinking probably septemberish? Also do you know if the DW12 will be released with the track? Thanks guys.
IMS is expected to be released after Silverstone, which is in the later stages of production now. that refers to the track only not the cars
Yeah, I would expect them to release at least one of the cars with it though? As ISI haven't released any oval cars yet.
Yeah I heard Silverstone might have BTCC similar time and the full formula ISI 2012 grid? I really can not wait to drive the indy car though I love the series and can't wait to drive it in a sim So fingers crossed
Tim / ISI, how are you going to implement this content. Only as content (cars, track), or series specific rules as well??? mainly, the 3-wide start, and maybe in further extent the qualifying and bump day. I haven't seen first qualy, but have seen bump day once and I found it fascinating to say the least. A 6hr open session, and at any time you can make a qually event. Can imagine that that might be a bit hard, but how about the each qually attempt being 4-laps being counted together
- What are your thoughts about rFactor 2 - Horrible. Bad graphics, bad sound and it's still beta. - Did you know they licensed Indianapolis Motor Speedway along with package of cars from different eras?
Oh my god guys ! I just CAN'T wait to drive thise kind of awesome Indycar on this track. Just beautifull announcement, I'm so glad to see ISI modding a lot of cars and tracks themselves, what will give you a quality content, close to real life. Just don't give up that way !
