The auto updater seems to be stalled out atm ..the file querys but download never starts as stated above ...so is anyone looking into this ? maybe its still uploading to the installer pgrm?

Edit: I choose´d torrent file, already finished. That was damn fast !

 

now ive messed about with room correction i think it still need some work, but before if i put it in game to 5.1 i got nothing from rear speakers, now they are working.

 

rain and spray still goes into cockpit. Cockpit HDR problem still there. Same performance. Nothing important for me, sorry.

 

ive not got it in cockpit, but i do have it in the garage. rain drops are much better though.

 

Yeah there was a problem before where too many sounds caused problems, this is fixed as per the release notes. don't think this means proper 5.1 surround surround support though, will have to have a play tomorrow.

I never use Hud on screen because I have Symproject gauges, but this one looks sexy!

 

How can auto updater work but we have no manual update 198-218? Auto update overwrite old game but when updating manually you'll need to uninstall first, and then install new build?

Auto updater sounds risky to me... I'll go for the manual

 

I used the rf2 "uninstall" to remove 198 but left all the folders it leaves behind your Player,packages,ectt.. never touched them then simply ran the 218 exe
kinda like an update .. I was on a fresh 198 that i did a wipe of all folders to install .. so far so good ..

 

until the manual update binaries are built, i guess a simple tarball / zip archive of files from http://world.rfactor.net/Sync/Download/Unstable/218/Files/ going under rfactor2\Updates\198\218 would just be enough don't you think?
(so we can update before business day closure without giving you too much extra work)

 

What does triple screen replay mean?

 

collision model improved, not been airborn yet, been trying though

 

I did a new and fresh installation!
1-save packages folder
2-save controller.ini folder( I didn't because with a new and fresh controller.ini I have a better ffb!!!)
3-save plugins folder.
4-unstall rfactor2.
5-delete manually all the folders from Documents/program86....
6-reboot your pc.
7-install rfactor2( I downloaded the lite versione).
8-replace the packages folder and the plugins folder where they were before and install all the components and mods, using mod-manager!

 

PedalOverlayPlugin doesn´t seems to work with build 218.
