Tried some more and I have to say that is really hard to change gear in the middle of the corner without spinning in this version.

Auto-clutch has nothing to do with changing gears. Its only for the case when you spin etc. That your engine wont shut down. Just use the clutch when shifting and you wont have the mentioned wheelspin ;)

I don't personally know this car (R8), but it really reminds me of my Grandmothers car when I was in High School.
All I remember about it is, it was a "Metropolitan", might have been made by Nash.

It had very small 4 cyl. Couldn't have weighed more than 800 to 1000 lbs. If you tried real hard you might stuff 3 1/2 people in it.
You could sit in the drivers seat and easily open passenger door.
    3 speed on the column.
Every time you shifted gears, it would rock with the torque. Very easy to burn a little rubber when shifting, even into 3rd.

Anyway, that car is what this R8 reminds me of.

When you fix the ffb issues and the shifting I will drive it again! for now I leave it.

    FFB fix, yes
    shifting fix, no
    It's a R8, no formula one
When you go down a report, you must give a little gas for not too large difference in engine rpm or spin it.

Driving an R8 properly right now is not possible anyway, because we have no working clutch yet. Otherwise it is done like with any other old racing car. Clutch for upshifting, downshifting is done with double declutching like in real life too. Rev matching is the key here, even without a working clutch...

Down your gear ratio, a boost switch that changes everything

I can't make the heel and toe technicque, because I have the load-cell mod and for me it is very difficult di do it correctly ! however for me the downshifting is ok but please the ffb has to be fixed! however I I appreciate your work and I love this car, so keep it going!

    Just tried 0.3.
Fun stuff, noticed bugs that have already been mentioned here. So will not repeat, but the transmission is great.
Older cars tend to be my favorite in sims, needing more driver input.

I got my H-shifter today, and i was a bit disappointed because every car i tried is driveable without using the clutch (?). Not the R8 gordini! and i very much enjoy this car. Thanks alot for this mod, keep up the great work!
