It still might have had a little to do with it, but according to the video I watched, the heat was the main issue. They even put ice packs inside his suit to try and keep him cool. They also limited his time on track to 3 laps at a shot.
Yep, because his fitness levels weren't up to scratch. Take an unfit person and get them to run for 30 minutes and they'll overheat and/or throw-up/faint or at least get light-headed.
Im using Logitech Driving Force GT. Great wheel itself, pedals are nothing to write home about but they work and price is just insanely low for a full 900 degree wheel+pedals. Im missing the H shifter from g25/g27 but can live without for now. Force in rF2 is amazing with this wheel (filter at 6 atm.), better I have ever experienced even with g27. I would like to someday invest into 3 displays and fanatec wheel combo but thats someday.
I thought the FFB in Build118 felt too light until I noticed the Filter setting in game was set default to 9...I used 4 before that (IIRC) and its much better already!
I used to use 4 too but tried it at 8 since b118 and I have to say I really like it there. Makes rf2`s ffb feel really nice with the G25...
werent there 2 or 3 settings people were playing around with in the ffb files to help their gear driven wheels? Would these be better than the ingame filter setting (which I assume is one of those settings in the ffb files ppl were changing).....
IIRC none of them had any real importance. Like there is this param specifically for Offroad forces, which has little or no effect. So it's all about the Filter Torque.
At croft, with that standard configuration in logitech profiler (check, 107,0,0,check,0, check, check) and not feeling brabham front tyres losing grip. Tryed with filter 4 and 0 and still. Will try with less overall effects stregth
have no idea yet. Will try later. But the clios still fine with all in the basic way almost every one plays. Will try only this setting (ffb multi) to this specific car and not ruin clios ffb.
I use to race a small motocross league in my town and it was just killer, in some point you feel fire inside all you body, you try to no think in that but you cant. Btw: the ffb here is the best by far, it kills the love for other sims like iR or RBR, wich is a shame.
Haha, I made that mistake already except for tried it on the Fanatec CSW. The thing has two 120watt belt-driven Mabuchi 550 motors and on the grass...you'll need your arms sewn back on if you FFB is set too high.
You must not using filter on fbb or have diferent configuration on logitech profiler. Mine looks like the car loose tires and i´m turning the wheel with no weight with filter set to 4.
