I know that the next update will come when it is ready .. but just wondering if it's soon?

As I've said before Updates tend to come when I'm away for a weekend/week, infact checking out the last 3 updates they have all come when I've been away!!

So using that theory the next update is due next thursday

its time for an update for sure, long time

 

i guess ISI had vacation after last update, so time is relative. anyway, we know now it depends when MarcG is away and update comes next thursday

 

I don't want an update.

There are other things I want more as at the moment I can't use rF2 to fullest until there are other things coming, so even if there would be update it would not be something that would help there.

Also there are features I would like to have, but those are also not coming with update, so update has not much to give to me, it will take very much longer until those features will come.

With current version I can however do probably everything that I could with next update, so there is no need for update, time could be used to make more fixes and updates to engine instead of preparing update

Agree, more time between updates isn't a bad thing. The time can be used to do deeper changes if necessary. (but ISI knows best anyway what's the best to do)
