I hope the licensing means access to some data! It can help the mod as maybe some of it can be translated to other cars, like tires.
Unlikely. I believe that Merc is current spec also better tyres perhaps? Camaro is 2012 spec and older tyres. After update for Camaro maybe?
I'd love to see the 3 GT + the 4th SLS being in the same class so we could use them together in a league I would love to join a ISI GT's league, but I did not find any with a good timeframe for me
The more the merrier. I think a series using proper GT3 cars. At least 4 of them I think would be good enough.
As it should and was expected. I just think it would be bad if one car would always have an advantage. On one track bigger on another one smaller, but still an advantage over the other all the time or most. That way we end up with a hypophetic championship where everyone chooses the better car. I know you feel me. Just like fuel consumption for example. If one car can go ridiculously further than the other (while having the same or even better pace) then we are spoiling the fun of challenging a car that is running in the same series. All in all I shall wait and see. Very, very eager to have a go. ^^
I think it is interesting I haven't seen much discussion on the DW12 related to that yet. Or did I miss it? The Honda and Chevy engines do vary enough that someone should have made use of that, won a race because of that, etc, by now... Unless they didn't realize what happened... Why they could stop later or were able to come out of a turn smoother, had a higher top end power level, or whatever....
Have to confess that I've only tried Honda powered car. Will check what kind of difference there is. I suspect different power curve, torque smoother at lower revs etc I suspect? This kind of stuff. I hope that you will be able as the time goes to get some more cars in each series like another car for the BTCC series, another GT3 car and so on. It's like Orr once said: rF2 is now a platter of samples of many series. I love that, there's something for anyone. That will only grow bigger as we all know what cars are coming (maybe some unannounced too) but it would be fantastic once the platter is diverse enough and there will be sth for everybody (different strokes for different folks) to add cars to each added series to make it more attractive to actually create a championship. Long, exciting, versatile championships. Tell me that doesn't sound nice, eh?
Do you know if all cars have the new steering system? I thought it was only a handful still (karts, skippy, I'm guessing the Cobra, and a few others...). Do you know if the entire line of stock content has had chassis flex incorporated yet?
