No, you're not. I still find some things in rF2 lighting and weather system not scaled properly. I also don't like the sky shading during sunsets - this big yellow area on the sky just screams "math". I'm also missing proper horizon shading during sunset.
Are you talking about the gradual lightfading during this 8-10 period? looked alright to me (not amazing), when the sun was setting it still emits light into the sky until it's completely dark. Not to forget this is a sped up video so it looks kinda "off" anyway!
I mean overall brightness of the landscape, the sky is bright the sun is completly above the horizon but you can hardly see anything at this time. Also headlights don't work properly at this time, they behave as if it is not dark enough, when it is actually so dark that you barely see anything...
That exactly what I had in mind when I mentioned things not being scaled properly. I guess either amount of ambient lighting or relation between lighting and exposure function needs some attention. This is something I referred to in one of my recent posts in wish list section - LINK - first sentence in point 1- "Sky".
This guy reminds me on someone whom talks to a brick as well. [emoji4] To bad. I really would like to see this guy doing it.
Are you still talking about the video? because you've completely lost me with the second sentence. As for the headlights again not sure what you're on about, they look fine in the video and again it's sped up so hardly worth picking holes in every little detail, unless of course you're not talking about the video!? #confused
It's not confusing. There's a certain time of evening and morning when the ambient light is not enough to see whilst driving and yet the headlights don't provide enough light either. At the moment, this means certain times of day are unusable in rf2. In my opinion as a user. edit - sorry for use of word unusable, it is usable, I just find it very difficult to see, in a way I've never experienced before in reality
so he wasn't talking about the video then, that's what confused me (as it hard to tell at all in that), now I understand though thanks
Yeah, because every other AI example out there is so freaking realistic, right? And also, I guess you are aware that 4 classes doesn't necessarily means P1, P2, GTE Pro, GTE Am. If you select the Clio Cup, BTCC Civic, Megane Trophy and Camaro GT3, you've got 4 classes in a race!!
there's loads of tips on these forums to make the AI spread better, I suggest you use the search button and figure it out, works wonders when you do!
The sentence with headlights comes more from personal experience than from the Video, sorry that was not very clear
The GT1's were on the last GT4 very quickly. Are you saying that you can see a group, when they were actually mixed up almost entirely by lap 6? Again - I wholeheartedly disagree with what you're seeing, because that's not what actually happened. They were spread out.
