Got to love the Haters. I am getting broken links on the j3G site and 'file is unavailable at this time' on the gameport. Do I need to download and install all or just V1.3?
Now I am getting this on GameFront (I went in a created an account): You are not authorized to access this page contact your administator if you think this is a mistake
Got It! Finally wnet to Googlwe and found another site, GameFront just kept saying Unavailable. Is that becasue there were others accessing a the same time? Anyway... Runs fine. Very nice. One suggestion to either rFactor2 team or modders. On the Mod Mangement screen when I hit the update option the Notification came up and went away soo fast that I was speed reading to see what was going on. All updates ran fine and I have managed to spin out several times on each and every corner. What is it with Californias and turns at the apex of hills? Very nice work and a definate boon to the Box of Chocolates that is rFactor 2. By the way. really sorry but I smashed up the Clio a bit on exit. Ray
Very nice. Ran first time no problems. Your updates for the all cars/tracks worked nicely as well. Nice job. I will be watching for your forthcoming updates. Thanks... Best regards, Randy
really enjoying to drive on this track! downhill is a very good challenge to pass someone .... found an issue with IA: - IA dont drive the formation lap (reported earlier here) - IA has a problem on start/finish line. When passing they are braking. Sometimes it seems that they hit an unvisible obstacle. - IA often drive into the wall at pit entry On the other hand IA is well calibrated at 100% thanks a lot for this great driving opportunity
i really like the track! finally some elevation changes in a track...got none of these in the other tracks and it's so much more fun! thx!!
Cannot install - invalid Id - maybe wrong files because links on gamfront are unavailable for me. (tried few times since yesterday)
Great job with this track! Haven't tried the 1.3 update but I'm enjoying your work so far. My only gripe is that in the load screen it appears as if Sonoma County is in Southern California, when it is in fact northeast of San Francisco in the north. I'll be headed there this coming weekend to watch Rubens Barrichello test the new KV Indycar - I live in San Jose about 1.5 hours away. I will be taking some photos and would be happy to share any if it can help with the production of this track.
keep trying periodically through the day, seems Gamefront is getting overloaded since we lost Megaupload.
It's good for a beta, but needs some work. The grip over curbs is terrible no matter what my car setup is like. It's weird, I get a rear wheel up on the curb and it just spins in the Megane. No drive. In some places I just seem to more or less randomly lose grip and I don't have the same feeling of being connected to the road like I do with other rf2 tracks. It almost feels floaty like in rF1 a little. It IS a beta track of a beta game, so all things considered, it works well!! Thanks.
Google search says you can download 1.3 from madracing.de: http://www.mad-racing.de/download.php?view.199
Guy, you need 1.3, the curb problem is fixed in 1.3 The area inside the T11 is set with very low grip to prevent cheating. They don't have barriers there in real life and I wanted to keep it as authentic as possible, so that was my solution to it. It's possible if you get a tire onto that surface you will lose traction. I should put a 1m buffer zone into that actually. Can anyone recommend me to any decent file hosting sites? Simple ones like gamefront, and (rip) megaupload that don't take you around the world just to get a download.
I really like that idea to prevent cheating.... Its less "dangerous" than bumps or barriers. That i a great, simple idea. I love it Sorry, no I dont know of any reliable file hosters....I will be looking for some of my own later.
