Hi. Thanks for reply Dave but there are some non-scanned tracks on store dlc page and I'm yet to see anyone from S397 confirm Laguna is a scanned track. It's typically one of the first things they tell us about a new track. I'm surprised nobody from s397 answered, maybe the same reason nobody answered the question about laguna's AI. Regards.
Very well done. Would be nice to get at least SOME of the actual advertising on the track. Seeing Motorsport Games everywhere on paid DLC is a bit chintzy.
I'd tell you the AI's fine, but then someone will find something that'll make someone unhappy. It's just best you figure it out for yourselves tbh. We don't purposefully make issues though and we do spend quite a bit time on it refining.
Though the BTCC cars can't come out of Laguna's pit without crashing. But the funniest thing is, when you watch and listen to the ai touring cars in trackside view, well.. I'm sorry to say that, but it's like a "fart fest". Because of the constant throttle-brake-throttle-brake bug. With these touring cars it's more obvious than ever. Seriously, now that you began working on the Ai , in my opinion it really should be the next thing to address. Because now it's starting to be really-really annoying. You know, after all these years. Otherwise, nice track, I love driving on it.
I checked it for you with Indycars. They can come out from the garage area much easier that touring cars. I think I saw only one car crashing into the wall. Touring cars cornering ability is more limited, so they can't come out easily from the tight garages, that's the problem, I guess. On track both cars are fine, but almost no overtaking. As usual. With 100% stength and 81% aggression. So maybe you can pull the trigger, but I don't want to talk you into buying them. And one more thing: the track needs some optimizaton, because frame rates are changing constantly. At least, on my machine. But the track itself is really great. Just like Donington and Brands Hatch.
I don't want to be rude.. Did you also test Laguna in the rain with the Indycar or BTTC? Thank you for your time. I appreciate that.
I watched them practicing in rain, and they were pretty good, not too much off-track activity. But they are a little bit slow.
