In VR, By putting 10:30 am to have confortable graphics, timescale OFF, by avoiding Sunset + Sunrise + Night (essential), with realistic rain (random), 61 AI, Multiclass (LMP2, LMP3, GTE, GT3, WTCR, BTCC, DTM), I think it is possible without sunrise/Sunset/Night with a GTX 1080 8 GB + I7 9700K @ 5 GHZ + RAM 16 GB 4000 MHz. On the other hand, the only one thing to do is to put the minimum of visible AI (6). You can achieve a strongly better performance by qualifying as race because graphic performance is widely worsening for race. Graphic settings : Circuit detail : high (not full) Player detail full Opponent detail : low Texture detail : full Special effects : full Shadows : high Shadow blur : optimal Soft particles : off Rain : low Road reflection : low Environment reflection : high Rift S Supersampling 120%. AA level 5 PP medium. It works with ASW oculus. Works with 61 GT3. I have to try with multiclass.
Your next car or cars could be the DTM 1992 (Ford GT, Mercedes 190E Evo, BMW M3 Sport, Audi V8 and Opel Omega)
I did some test session with 5 different gen file to check the fps, and find the best settings to improve performance. I have very interesting results. I tested with 20 and 40 and 60 cars to compare the difference. The different gen file example: 1. Same as before 2. Improved lod in and lod out 3. Tested with 3 lod's instead of 4 4. Tested with 2 lod's instead of 4 5. Tested with only the highest lod Conclusion: More lod's eat more fps, because at the same time with around 20-60 cars on the grid, need to load more lod's (objects) for the game engine. So with improved lod in and out settings, sometimes on the grid with a lot cars need to load (because of the distance between the first and last car) 2-3 lod's or all. The fps lost wasn't too much when i tested 40 or 60 cars compared to 20 cars on the grid. I checked the fps at the start of the race because more cars in a group. After few corner the fps went higher and higher. But i still got 67 fps at the start with 60 cars with high graphics settings.
rFactor 2 is very CPU demanding with all the AI calculations, adding more LOD just intensifies. WTCR series are normally 26 drivers, which will not impact that much but doing 60-90 AI on Nordschleife will make the PC scream in agony
I tried the new steering system, is it just lighter than the old one? seems not too heavy like the old one. SO which one do you suggest? And how about this week's update? Waiting to drive it!!!~ Thanks again for this awesome mod
Both option has the same torque settings, but the old one is the old rF2 steering style, and the new one is the new steering style. Only the Alfa coming today, because I implement all previous fixes which mentioned here before. And anyone who have the mod can test and compare with the other cars.

yeah!alfa is nice! and another question, are all the previous contents rear lights's color fix? I saw someone say's it above, golf rear light look like white when it's off and a bit orange when on... and just now I found audi seems white too, it might be some reflection problem? because in some occasion it's all right~ and if it's fixed just ignore what I said haha
I tried this and it's great fun, too! and with steering style I wonder which is close to reality? rf2 style or new style? rf2 style might be similar to ISI's btcc civic, front wheel just drag u hand and new one is smooth(I just try it once so might not correct)? BTW:all green head light for the alfa.... is it as it is on reality? hahha on Halloween it looks a bit.... hahahah edit: I saw today's race when cecon flash his light, it's normal white, so there might be some problem?
Great mod, thats for shure! The new stuff Alfa looking nice. But , in AI races, the Alfas running much quicker than the rest of the pack. Close 2 seconds per lap in Monza and 1,5 in Monaco, for example!
Yesterday afternoon. If you not recieved an email, check your google drive "shared with me" folder. Normally is there.
