Easy friend is understood, look at the vote as it goes ... a very small percentage is interested in street cars, it is not worth wasting time in street cars...If so, it is when rfactor begins to lose interest
Is it possible techically in rf2 to create street city maps? Not round circuits but something like recreation of the part of the city with cross-roads with option to go any direction (left, right, ahead...)?
This voting is only conditionally meaningful. Since in the forum almost only long-standing members are on the way. These already have what they want. Race cars. The other part of the interests representation will appear only when their interests are actually offered. Street cars. But well I will not stop you in your campaign against street cars any longer. Good luck with it.
campaign?, no ,,, it's just an opinion ,,, just one ,,, but can I express it? ... OK, I leave the thread to not bother you !!!
I think this thread has exhausted what everyone wants to say on street cars vs race cars. There is a smaller but passionate group of forum users who would support street car development If that’s enough for S397 to invest resource into development then they will come. If not then it’s down the the community.
I am actually fascinated by the fact that most people here do not understand what you wrote here. They answer you back by using this poll as an argument again. I do not own rF2 myself but I follow the sim for quite some time, I would really like to jump in, but sadly there is not much of interest in it for me, well except for exceptional FFB and physics, but still, it is not enough if I am bored by the cars offered. 60 percent of my time, maybe a bit more I spend driving tarmac rally in AC (rally is my passion), rest of my time i spend trying different street cars (mostly 60-90s with H-shifter), some drifting and just cruising around nordsleife with people on line. I know a lot of people that share my view, also most of my friends. None of us own rF2 but we would like to, there is just nothing in it for us. Some of us (myself included), own ACC, we barely touch it, I personally have maybe 30 hours in it, tops. If you would really like Your sim (rF2) to succeed you should not only be welcome to diverse mods, you should ask for them as well.
And that's EXACTLY what rF2 doesn't need to become. A driving game. It is why AC is successful, but I have no interest in turning rF2 into AC.
AC has the best car base but the physics leave you wanting. rF2 has the best physics but the car base leave you wanting. I can't believe only a 102 people voted!
or the other way ... would be to ask Kunos to try to bring the physics of ac to the level of rF2. I find it curious how some people ask a company that produces a certain product: hei ... if you also produce what I like you could sell more .....
I also don't get a theory how variety of content could spoil the subject of a simulation. It would just have more usability. I get not being interested in having some cars. But I don't get being interested in NOT having them. I hate TCR though, so perhaps I can feel you a little xd
