http://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/news/a18270/you-think-driving-an-indy-car-is-easy/ Related to simracing as it talks about steering wheel, pedal, etc. forces. Not to mention, we have this very car in rFactor 2.
I think Spin just points out the exertion levels. While you at it ask Dario why he or his mates have not taken up Ron Capp's offer of driving his 10,000hp Dodge Charger FunnyCar. ( tear your face off ) He has guest driven their Indy, Champ and Nascars p I thought this was funny. lol Pretty much reaffirms Spin. p
And driving a tf funnycar "just" straight on isn't as easy as many people think. Gesendet von meinem GT-I9301I mit Tapatalk
I thought this was a fascinating article and wanted to share it with you guys. It also has a cool connection to RF2 because we have the car and lots of people are interested in making their simracing hardware as physically difficult to real life as possible. The article also talks about steering force and this can be read in-game too. I don't understand why you'd say something like that to someone who's just trying to share something cool with others. You must have a lot of anger and hate in you. Hope you feel better.
+1 No Spin. I think... peterchen thinks....... you posted this to somehow tear down virtual reality, like no sim is good enough, which is not what you were doing. For me the Jag video tells "that story" better anyways http://www.chonday.com/Videos/jagufacar3 I mean they totally sucked in experts. lol " If I did not know better I would think I was in a real car " lmao
In that Jag video how did they reproduce the right engine revs and tyre scrub to match the pattern he drove. Pre-recorded maybe and loud enough to block outside sound. ?
Oh, I see. No, this has nothing to do with comparing physics (well except steering force numbers if ppl want) [emoji3] I like the sort of analogy used in the article of the braking effort over a race distance. Maybe someone will try that workout?...
Which is a worthy point as it is a combination of gforce as well. You wouldn't last more then a few laps with a beer belly hey. lol It is like racers have had time off , they do endurance race and are more buggered. P.S. These simulators do not produce realistic g force yet do they ? I would love to see one could replicate a Top Fuel run. That pushes your eyeballs back in their sockets. lol
interesting read.. although you wouldn't blame the people here if this kind of post is treated with a little hostility..
