Has anyone use x-sim purely for tactile feedback (bass shaker). I know plenty of you use simvibe - but $89 vs free when budget is tight?!?! I have downloaded and installed x-sim, but am now feeling overwhelmed. Any help / advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance
x-sim software is free vs $89 for simvibe. X-Sim forum seems far less active than here, so tried here first - will go the route of asking on those forums too.
I've used X-sim before for my motion seat and as I recall there must be some topics opened in the forum regarding the tacticle feedback and their setup. You are right about Simvibe software price, I've always thought if you buy Buttkicker from Simxperience that you get Simvibe access for free.
Motion seat is my "one day, when I have time" dream project. How many DOF? I found some "dead" threads with no real answers wrt using it just for tactile feedback in rfactor 2. I never bought a buttkicker, have made my own with old speakers and and old amp.
Although X-sim not exist, SimBive is a "bit" overpriced IMO (more expensive than the sims). Take a look at this video: There is a profile download in the video description (watch in youtube). And here http://www.mediafire.com/view/ns9xzxdmbaoj5mn/X-Sim_BassShaker.pdf more clues, I´m going to mess with it this afternoon. Good luck and let us know if you succeed and how, will be of great help. Cheers
