2015 Howston Endurance Championship (RF2) WRRacing are proud to be hosting a new endurance championship for 2015 featuring the stunning Howston G4 & G6 cars in Rfactor 2 The series consists of one race per month, 11 races in total, 90 minutes long held on both classic & modern tracks. Registration, rules and entry details can all be found here http://wrracing.net/forum/index.php?topic=3980.0 The first race is on 3rd February 20:30 (UK Time) and we hope you can join us. Looking forward to an exciting season and remember ...... for sprint racers it's over in minutes, but endurance racers can go all night long......
Hey dude. I've never really driven the Howston but figure this could be fun. Are there not many configs of both the G4 & G6 versions? If so, which will be used? Disclaimer: I've no idea of the differences, just curious.
There are about 3-4 configs of each class. From what I can tell, the higher up the config (in year) the more grip you have. So I pick the '69 Mk3
Oh so it's not like you will lock each to one config? Will they be classified as two different classes (G4 & G6)?
We are leaving the upgrades open so you can choose whatever car and upgrade you like. At the moment most of us are in the G6, which I think has a higher top speed than the G4. Once you have chosen the G4 or G6, you will need to run that for the rest of the races.
Round 1 went off without a hitch, Sebring was nicely rubbered in after 90 mins of racing!! Hope to see some more of you all at round 2!
24th Mar - Belgium 66 V1.43 Our 3rd round is this Tuesday at Spa 1966... tests have been cloudy, sunny and viciously historic. I don't think I have hit the same object twice!! The races are tough, exhilarating but gratifying! You are welcome to join us, click here to see more info about the championship and how to sign up. Races are informal but still competitive. Rounds always have realtime weather but the rain intensity is capped so that it is never a complete washout. Hope to see you there!!
23rd June LeMans round, entries still open!! Howston under rated? Well join us! Sign up at WRRacing.net, the links are in the first post
