The exe. doesn't do anything? So I uninstalled from the Windows uninstall and tried to reinstall the Lite and then the demo. Neither will reinstall? Yesterday I was trying some different resolutions and window mode. That's the only change. Accept one new modded track. But it was never installed from the rfcmp file.
Looks like a damaged harddisk. Try Crystal Disk Info or any other S.M.A.R.T. software and check for "pending sectors". Btw, you can have multiple installs of rF2. Just try a different directory for Core and Data (for instance c:\rFactor2).
Thanks, think I got it fixed. It was running as an app. in the background? So wouldn't install. I don't know if it uninstalled or not?
