I want to use lower mirror res because of my PC. But when I edit the mirror.bmp the car I edited disapear from the game list.
    I'm doing it this way:
Click extract in the mirror file
    Resize it
Click cut to remove the mirror file
    Add the new mirror back
    Click save

Cars that are disappearing are Simtek GT3 and URD GTE, Apex GT3 stays just fine.
Also would I get a mismatch due to this?

Something that could be related: when I started trying to edit the mirror rF2 now reinstall mods when I open it, it is reinstalling the whole thing

Well this is a frustrating part with the rF2 packaging system, it's not really a new thing though. You can't edit one single line or file in a mod without rebuilding it completely, that is, creating an entirely new car component with MAS2.exe with the modified files. Also when you have built the new car mod, you will not be allowed to join servers that use the original mod.

Damn it ISI! This is dumb!
If that's how things were going to be no need to be a genius to decide mirror res should be a in game option rather than something stuck to the car.
Thank you man for the info...

Unfortunately ISI catered to the online modding system and didn't take up much thought for "simple" off line use, but we told them that back in 2012 so we can only hope it's easier for RF3 :p Either way when you do learn the modding system it is easy but a complete faff when wanting to alter just one file.
