I've been reading threads here and one common theme seems to carry through a lot and that is lack of knowledge. So many times I've read a phrase start "New drivers aren't going to know..." and other threads where people post and experience only to find out what they thought was a problem is actually how the game is meant to be. Example, Real Road for one. It would be nice if there was an entertaining "Intro Video" for when a person first purchases the game and gets to know what to expect.
I really couldn't agree more with the OP. You guys really need to focus on making the transition to rF2 as simple and well explained as possible. A series of YouTube guides would work wonders, I'm sure of it.
Even better would be to make the game it self more accessable and intuitive to start with. Better UI for starters. Thats the root of the problem.
ISI should contact the producers of that film Rush about Niki Lauda and Hunt to play the film while rf2 loads Nordscheleife track.
I know ISI so this is probably gonna fall on deaf ears, lol, but I say really "jazz up" the intro vid BUT make it informative. I'm thinking something like this but with the relevant info that makes rf2, rf2! Start at the 50 second mark
I believe that we should not invent anything here. RF2 is realism. we should take a cue from the facts of real life.. an idea like this but in different real racing track
That sounds like a good idea using a real video BUT it's best for the user to see the explanations in examples in the game so they can actually see what is going on in-game.
At Nords loading time we have time to see both, discuss about who is the best, came to a conclusion and get prepared for start race.
