What does the plug in the top left corner mean?

Ever since I updated my firmware and drivers for my wheel, I see what looks like an electrical plug in the top left corner my screen when I click race and I'm about to leave the garage.

Anyone know what that means?

 

It's the notification to tell you it's loading plugins. When it goes away any plugins you have are loaded.

For example I have an Android app (DashmeterPro) on my phone, it won't work until that plug has disappeared.

 

I have 'Real Head Motion' plugin installed and plug comes out for 20(?) sec and then goes away.
But I remember you like clean installs

I must however say that I don't like this delay of 20 secs. > I have a real rev counter and it only become actif a few seconds before the race-start. I hope that this loading delay will be removed in future releases, as I see no benefit of having it.

 

I not only disike this delay but I don't understand the reason of it. If ISI commented it in any way, please direct me to the post.
Note, that this delay is also executed on dedicated servers making updating liveviews delayed.

 

Is this just for the beta?

Will the plug in work instantly without a delay on a future build I wonder
