It's trendy therm last time. You know, in the past you would get only finished products. Any one/any company tried to develop product as best as they can. Nowadays, you will get some unfinished crap, for special reason called WIP or beta. After that you have no rights to complain because you have been warned: WIP means work in progress, beta menas test version. in both cases it means 'unfinished' and you got what you wanted. Finally doesn't matter that final product looks/works the same as wip/beta, has the same issues/bugs etc. Yeah, that's weird. But we (customers) accept that situations. So it's not surprising that providers overuses the case.
