    I have run some tests with wet files in order to understand how exactly works.

    When you set scripted in race conditions menu, a wet file appears in the folder of the track.

    The file has this structure:

    Each session is splited in 5 sectors. Each one with the conditions you have chosen.

    StartTime=(540) -> Start time for sector, in minutes after 00:00. 660 is 13:00 A.M. 120 would be 2:00 A.M.,...
    Duration=(30) -> Duration of sector
    Sky=(0) -> This refers to clear, light clouds, Partially cloud,.....
    RainChange=(0) -> Self explained
    RainDensity=(2) -> 0 is light rain; 2 is storm. I´m not sure if 1 is something in the middle. In the menu you can only select light rain or storm

    About sky, works this way:

    0 -> clear
    1 -> Light clouds
    2 -> Partially cloud
    3 -> Mostly cloud
    4 -> Overcast
    5 -> Light Cloudy & Rain
    6 -> Partially cloudy & Rain
    7 -> Mostly cloudy & Rain
    8 -> Overcast & Rain
    9 -> Mostly cloudy & Storm
    10 -> Overcast & Storm

    ------------------------

    The first thing I realised is that

    StartTime=(540)
    Duration=(30)

    for each sector don´t work right when choosing condition in race conditions menu.

    For example, you set 25 minutes races, starting at 2:00 P.M.; the menu will create this file:

    But should be like this:

    I don´t know why this doesn´t work right.

    ------------------------------

    Well, the best part is you can edit the wet file with notepad. And then, you can choose diferent times for each secto AND different number of sectors (not only 5)

    I have created a file like that, for a 2 hour race, starting at 2:00 P.M.:

    I only write the important information here: not temperature, wind speed or wind direction

    With thise file if should rain:

    2:00:00 - 1:58:00 (time left of race)
    1:45:00 - 1:43:00
    1:20:00 - 1:10:00
    55:00 - 40:00
    21:00 - 20:00
    05:00 - 00:00

    I have run 5 tests and the rain appears at:

    Test 1:

    2:00:00 - 1:57:00 (time left of race)
    1:41:00 - 1:38:00
    1:22:00 - 1:16:00
    1:01:00 - 48:00
    31:00 - 28:00
    11:30 - 00:00

    Test 2:

    2:00:00 - 1:56:00 (time left of race)
    1:42:00 - 1:37:00
    1:23:00 - 1:17:00
    1:02:00 - 47:00
    33:00 - 29:00
    12:00 - 00:00

    Test 3:

    2:00:00 - 1:58:30 (time left of race)
    1:43:00 - 1:38:00
    1:22:30 - 1:15:30
    1:02:30 - 47:00
    31:00 - 26:30
    11:00 - 00:00

    Test 4:

    2:00:00 - 1:58:00 (time left of race)
    1:41:00 - 1:36:00
    1:23:00 - 1:18:00
    1:01:30 - 47:30
    31:00 - 28:00
    11:30 - 00:00

    Test 5:

    2:00:00 - 1:58:00 (time left of race)
    1:44:00 - 1:36:30
    1:23:00 - 1:15:30
    1:01:30 - 48:30
    31:30 - 28:30
    11:30 - 00:00

    So, the times don´t match exactly, what´s great because there is some "random" always there. Also, when you set only a minute or two of rain, usually you have 3 or 4 minutes (I guess one minute for staring raining and another one for finishing).

    The starting times for the rain, more or less, match what you expect in the first three sectors, but in the last three sector there are important differences. Anyone knows why?

    --------------------

    PLEASE, I would thank if someone from ISI could clarify if this text is right or not. And why the last sectors don´t match as well as the first sectors.

    A FAQ, by ISI, for the WET file would be GREAT

    Well for one thing, you have two entries for 910. I don't know what difference that would make (if any) but I would avoid it anyway. As for the actual sector times and lengths, as you've found the time doesn't matter and the whole lot gets stretched across whatever length session you run. There's also a parameter up the top (can't remember the name) that probably helps to randomise the whole thing and may (perhaps) have some influence on how your settings behave, especially very short sectors.

    * abstractnodes is what I was thinking of

    The two 910 was a mistake when I wrote here, in the wet file, there was only one.

    I have tried to change abstractnodes to "0" and the results are the same.

    Thank you for the answer.
